First Full-Service Restaurant in Dallas to Achieve Coveted Mark

Dallas, TX – March 20, 2012 - Texas Spice at theOmni Dallas Hotel was recently certified as a 2-Star Certified Green Restaurant® by the Green Restaurant Association (GRA), a national nonprofit organization helping restaurants to become more environmentally sustainable. By receiving 141 GreenPoints™ on the GRA’s rigorous certification scale and implementing 61 steps, Texas Spice demonstrated commitment above and beyond the minimum requirements necessary for certification.

The upscale restaurant also prides itself on its work with local farmers and purveyors. As one of the largest farm-to-market restaurant concepts in the U.S., the restaurant puts an emphasis on utilizing the freshest local ingredients, creating flavorful food in a casual atmosphere.
