JAMES D. CALDWELL
President, TRT Holdings Inc. Chief Executive Officer, Omni Hotels
Jim Caldwell was named president of Omni Hotels in February 1996, when TRT Holdings, Inc., purchased the company. Recently named as chief executive officer, Caldwell is responsible for the continued growth of the organization.
From 1991 to 1996, Caldwell served as vice-president and general counsel for TRT Holdings, Inc. In addition, he served as president of its real estate subsidiary, TRT Development Company, and its management subsidiary, Shoreline Operating Company. He led TRT in a hotel acquisition program which eventually led to the purchase in 1996 of Omni Hotels from Hong Kong based Wharf Holdings. Omni Hotels is now comprised of 40 luxury hotels and resorts throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Caldwell received a BBA in Accounting with highest honors from The University of Texas in 1977 and practiced with Peat Marwick as a CPA in Houston and Corpus Christi. After leaving Peat Marwick, he received his law degree with honors from The University of Texas School of Law. Prior to joining TRT, Caldwell practiced commercial law for 10 years as a partner in a large South Texas law firm.

MICHAEL J. DEITEMEYER
President
Mike Deitemeyer is the current president of Omni Hotels, which offers luxury accommodations at 40 hotels and resorts in leading business gateways and leisure destinations across North America. Since his appointment in July 2004, Deitemeyer has established the company as a leading hotel brand known for delivering superior quality, award-winning service and exceptional guest experiences through sensory activation and innovative food & beverage programs. He is responsible for establishing the vision for the company and ensuring that all areas are effectively driving together towards those goals. Under his leadership, Omni Hotels was recently ranked “Highest in Guest Satisfaction Among Upscale Hotel Chains” in the J.D. Power and Associates 2006 North America Hotel Guest Satisfaction Study(SM) for the second year in a row. The brand has also been noted as a top luxury brand by Consumer Reports and Entrepreneur magazine during his tenure as president.
Prior to becoming president, Deitemeyer most recently served as chief operating officer, a position he held from 1999 to 2004. Previously, he was the senior vice president of finance. Prior to joining Omni Hotels, Deitemeyer served as controller for TRT Development Company (now Omni’s parent company) and its hotel management company, Shoreline Operating Company. He joined TRT Development Company and Shoreline Operating Company in 1992.
Deitemeyer began his career in the hospitality industry with Interstate Hotels Corporation in 1985. While there, he was involved in the opening and acquisition of several hotel properties.
A graduate of Fitchburg State College in Mass., Deitemeyer earned an undergraduate degree in business with a concentration in accounting.

PAUL DIETZLER
Executive Vice President of Asset Management
As executive vice president of asset management, Paul Dietzler drives long-range planning on existing properties and analyzes new opportunities to maximize Omni’s capital return on investments. He also oversees all construction and design projects, including renovations and new development. He also leads information technology functions and procurement standards.
Dietzler boasts a long tenure with Omni Hotels, starting in 1991 with Shoreline Operating Company, a hotel management company owned by Omni’s parent company, TRT Holdings Inc. He assisted in the corporate acquisition of Omni Hotels in 1996 and was promoted in 1997 to corporate controller. Dietzler was appointed vice president of finance and technology in 1999 and senior vice president of finance and technology in 2001. He was named senior vice president of asset management in 2004 and has served in his current role since December 2005. Prior to joining Shoreline and Omni Hotels, he worked with Interstate Hotels Corporation.
Dietzler graduated from the University of Minnesota with degrees in business and economics.

PAUL MUELLNER Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance
As CFO, Paul Muellner is responsible for Omni Hotels’ overall financial management, overseeing departments such as accounting and capital budgeting.
Paul joined Omni Hotels in 2006 as vice president of finance and was later named senior vice president and chief financial officer. Before joining the Omni Hotels team, Muellner served in several different finance-related capacities. He most recently served as chief financial officer and vice president/corporate controller for John Q. Hammons Hotels, Inc. Additionally, Muellner has served as the vice president of finance for Carnival Hotels & Casinos. Through these experiences, Muellner became proficient in the finance discipline, enabling him to successfully integrate financial strategy for the Omni brand.
Muellner is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a master’s degree in accounting from American University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from The University of Maryland.

TOM SANTORA
Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Sales
Tom Santora has joined Omni Hotels as its new chief marketing officer and senior vice president of sales. He will be responsible for establishing and driving a strategic plan across all disciplines, including advertising, public relations, e-commerce, customer loyalty, global sales, revenue management and electronic and call center distribution. Santora brings with him over 20 years in the hotel industry.
As executive vice president of sales & marketing for Kor Hotel Group, Santora built the sales and marketing team and set the overall position for the company’s two iconic boutique brands, Viceroy and The Tides, and also played an integral role in their substantial portfolio growth.
Prior to joining Kor, Tom served in various sales and marketing positions during his 16 years with Marriott, including opening the flagship Renaissance Hollywood Hotel, establishing centralized group sales centers in the west and facilitating national sales schools.

RICHARD MAXFIELD
Senior Vice President, Operations
As senior vice president of operations, Richard Maxfield is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences for Omni Hotels.
Maxfield joined Omni Hotels in 1978, starting in the front office. In 1987, he was named general manager of the Omni Northstar Hotel in Minneapolis. Four years later, Maxfield left Omni temporarily to join Delta Hotels and Resorts in Orlando, returning as the general manager of the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in 1995. In 1999, he was named general manager of the newly opened Omni Interlocken Resort near Denver. He served as general manager of the resort until 2006, when he was promoted to his current position as senior vice president of operations.
In 2001, Maxfield was recognized as the recipient of the Creative Marketing Award at the General Managers’ Conference. In 2002, he was named General Manager of the Year by the Mile High Chapter of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International.
Richard Maxfield graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1978 with a BS in Accounting.

MIKE GARCIA
Senior Vice President of Development
As senior vice president of development, Michael A. Garcia is responsible for corporate finance as well as the added responsibility of overseeing Omni Hotels’ development efforts. In Garcia’s previous role as chief financial officer he was responsible for accounting and reporting, treasury, purchasing, risk management and capital project accounting. Garcia joined Omni Hotels Management Corporation in 1996 as controller of corporate accounting and assisted in TRT Holdings' corporate transition of Omni Hotels.
Prior to joining Omni Hotels, Garcia was employed by La Quinta Inns Inc. as their assistant controller. Prior to La Quinta, Garcia was an audit manager for KPMG Peat Marwick. He holds more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
A member of AICPA and the Texas Chapter of CPA's, Garcia graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a BBA with a concentration in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Garcia will oversee the strong growth of Omni properties and continue to serve as a member of the company’s senior leadership.

STEPHEN ROSENSTOCK
Senior Vice President of Food & Beverage and Brand Standards
As senior vice president of food & beverage and brand standards, Stephen Rosenstock is responsible for creating exceptional food and beverage programs across the brand. Rosenstock also maintains and develops brand standards for Omni Hotels’ guestrooms and other operational areas to ensure compelling brand differentiation. He most recently served as vice president of operations for Omni Hotels, responsible for overseeing the operations of Omni Hotels’ properties across North America.
From 1998 to 1999, Rosenstock held the position of regional managing director of operations. In this capacity, he was responsible for the Omni Chicago Hotel, the Omni Ambassador East Hotel in Chicago, the Omni Berkshire Place in New York, the Omni Severin Hotel in Indianapolis and the Omni Royal Orleans and Omni Royal Crescent hotels in New Orleans.
From 1993 to 1998, he served as general manager of the Omni Severin Hotel in downtown Indianapolis. Prior to that, he was the general manager of the Omni International in Norfolk, VA. Rosenstock joined Omni Hotels in 1975. Rosenstock is a member of the Chaine des Rotisseurs. He is a former board of directors member of the Indianapolis Convention and Visitors Association and is a past president of the Indianapolis Hotel and Motel Association. He was recognized in 1995 as Omni Hotels’ general manager of the year and in 1994 received Omni Hotels’ marketing achievement award. He is an adjunct professor at Old Dominion University, teaching hospitality resort sales and marketing.
Rosenstock is a graduate of Virginia Tech.

JOY ROTHSCHILD
Senior Vice President of Associate Services
Joy Rothschild rejoined Omni Hotels as senior vice president of human resources in January 1998. In 2002, the function was recast as Associate Services to formalize the company’s service commitment to the people who make Omni Hotels a success. A 20-year veteran of Omni Hotels, Rothschild was appointed senior vice president of human resources in 1992. She has also held the positions of vice president of human resources, corporate human resources director and senior regional director, as well as human resources director for several individual Omni Hotels properties. From 1996 to 1998, she was employed with Carnival Hotels and Casinos as senior vice president of human resources.
Rothschild currently serves as chairperson of the American Hotel & Motel Association’s Human Resources committee. She has earned the certified human resources executive (CHRE) designation from the American Hotel and Lodging Association.
Rothschild is a Hotel Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) Golden Bell Winner and a 1992 recipient of Omni Hotels’ President’s Award for developing the Omni Service Champion employee recognition program and the Power of One employee empowerment program.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in hospitality management from the University of New Hampshire’s Whittemore School of Business. Rothschild’s post-college executive education includes Harvard Business School’s Achieving Excellence through Service Program and the University of Michigan’s Advanced Human Resources Executive Forum.

MICHAEL G. SMITH
Senior Vice President and General Counsel
Michael Smith joined Omni Hotels in 1996 and has served as General Counsel since 1998. Smith manages all legal matters, including the planning, structuring and negotiation of acquisitions and joint ventures. He also coordinates the company’s financial and investment transactions. Smith joined Omni Hotels after practicing real estate and corporate law for five years with a commercial law firm in Corpus Christi, TX. He also is a Certified Public Accountant, and prior to attending law school, he was an auditor for Ernst & Young for three years.
Smith attended the University of Texas and received his BBA with honors in Accounting. He received his JD with honors from the University of Texas School of Law.

ED NETZHAMMER Regional Vice President and General Manager, Omni Fort Worth Hotel
Ed Netzhammer is the opening general manager and first associate of the Omni Fort Worth Hotel, opening in January 2009. As general manager, he directs the successful management of the hotel, including operations, sales, marketing, and associate and guest satisfaction. Additionally, he oversees the Omni San Diego Hotel, which he opened in 2004, as well as the Omni San Francisco Hotel, Omni Tucson National Resort, Omni Interlocken Resort, Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza, Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas and the Omni Dallas Hotel at Park West.
Netzhammer has more than 20 years of experience in hotel management at leading properties throughout the United States. Prior to this position, he served as general manager of the Omni San Diego Hotel. He also previously held the positions of vice president of global revenue management for Starwood Hotels and managing director of The Westin Century Plaza Hotel, West Los Angeles’ premier meeting, convention and exhibition destination. In addition, he formerly managed The Westin Mission Hills Resort, Rancho Mirage, California, and The Westin Horton Plaza, San Diego, and oversaw such luxury properties as The Westin La Paloma, Tucson; Arizona Sheraton El Conquistador, Tucson; The St. Regis, Aspen, Colorado; and The Phoenician, Phoenix. Netzhammer has served on the boards of the San Diego Hotel Association, the San Diego Lodging Industry Association, and the executive committee and board of directors of the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau. He also was Chairman of the San Diego Sales Committee and sat on the Taxi Cab commission subcommittee of the San Diego City Council. His commitment to the community and the tourism industry continues in Fort Worth; within eight months of his arrival, he joined the board of directors of the Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Netzhammer received a Bachelor of Science degree in general business from Nicholls State University. He would tell you the joy of his life is his wife April and two children Ryan and Riley.

TOM FAUST
Vice President of Sales and Distribution, Omni Hotels
A recognized hotel industry veteran, Tom Faust, joined Omni Hotels in April 2007 as Vice President of Sales & Distribution. In this leadership role, Faust is responsible for creating and directing revenue-generating strategies across global and property sales as well as the revenue management discipline, distribution and reservations systems for the entire luxury hotel brand.
Prior to joining Omni, Faust spent seven years at the Anatole in Dallas under both the Wyndham and Hilton flags. He also spent 18 years with Sheraton and subsequently Starwood Hotels in a variety of operations, marketing, sales and distribution roles at both the corporate and field levels.
A native of St. Louis, Faust began his hotel career as a bellman at the Stouffer’s Riverfront Towers in St. Louis, now the Regal Riverfront Inn.
