Turndown Service

Many years ago, before becoming the Omni Royal Orleans, this hotel had no heating or air conditioning.  Part of the hotel's hospitality included a maid who came to warm the guest's bed with a bedwarmer.  She would put a copper-bottom pan filled with coals at the foot of the bed and then tuck the covers in all around the bed to keep the guests warm... 

Guests still report waking up to find that the sheets of their bed are tucked in snugly around them.
