Omni Parker House

Restoration and Renovation

The Omni Parker House, which has hosted presidents, world leaders and entertainers since opening in 1855, as the only luxury hotel in Boston, has completed a multi-phased, multi-million dollar renovation to its 551 luxury guest rooms, suites, lobby, dining facilities, meeting space, and exterior.

The Omni Parker House has fully updated all of its 530 luxurious guest rooms and 21 deluxe suites, while maintaining its charming and timeless beauty.  The new guest rooms have updated cherry wood furnishings, richly colored fabrics, lush bedding, and contemporary amenities, including 32 inch flat screen LCD televisions and WiFi connectivity.  All guests can enjoy the convenience of new in-room safes, as well as new mini-bars.  Vibrant and colorful carpeting has been installed throughout all guest rooms and public areas.

The dining facilities, including Parker’s Restaurant, Parker’s Bar, and The Last Hurrah have received face-lifts.  Including updated carpets, furnishings, fresh paint and restored cherry wood walls throughout, to complete the internal restoration.  Parker’s restaurant has a completely new, installed buffet station.

The exterior restoration of the Omni Parker House includes re-pointing of the masonry façade and replacement of rooftop decorative cornices.  Installation of new energy-efficient windows and individual guestroom heating and cooling units is also completed.  The contractors have taken special care in maintaining the original appearance of the exterior of the building while significantly improving its waterproofing and insulating attributes.
