Romantic Things To Do in Richmond

• Carriage rides
  Enjoy the wonderful carriage rides through historic downtown Richmond or along Canal Street into Carytown district.
• Night on the Town
  Enjoy a romantic walk on the cobblestone streets, illuminated with warm gas lamps lights, before heading to one of the many fine area restaurants just steps from the hotel. Complete the evening with tickets to the Richmond Ballet or Landmark Theatre.

  Stroll hand-and-hand  through 30 acres of Victorian-style perennial gardens
• Maymont
  From the historic 33 room mansion, to the acres of beautiful gardens to the nature center featuring horse-drawn carriage rides, couples will find plenty to do throughout the day.
• Richmond Canal Cruises 
  During the summer months, take a  historically narrated boat tour of the James River and Kanawha Canal. The cruise departs from the Turning Basin along Richmond's canal walk between 14th street and Virginia Street.
