MEET OUR PROS

ZACHARY HEPP joined The Omni Grove Park Inn in 2016 and has since then become the Assistant Professional and Tournament Coordinator. Hepp has been an avid golfer since age 12, which he credits to his parents, who share his life-long passion for golf. Hepp began taking part in competitive events during his younger years and still enjoys participating in ranked events as often as possible. Since Hepp was old enough to drive, he has dedicated his time to working at golf courses throughout North Carolina, including the Golf Club at Chapel Ridge in Pittsboro and Wildwood Green Golf Club in Raleigh. He most enjoys instructing clinics and private lessons for all skill levels as often as he is able. Hepp’s work has spanned numerous golf industry positions, earning him a well-rounded education in the field. He is currently working to become a member of the PGA of America.

SIMON ANDRES is Director of Golf at The Omni Grove Park Inn. Appointed in 2013, Andres provides expert instruction through clinics and private lessons on the par-70, 6,400-yard Donald Ross designed course and assorted facilities. A member of PGA of America since 2002, Andres is an accomplished teaching professional, with experience improving novice and expert golfers alike with a method he encapsulates as "swing theory versus hit instincts." Andres joined The Inn following a long run at Hershey Country Club in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where he was Head Golf Professional from 2002-2013. Before that, he was Assistant Golf Professional at Nicklaus Golf Club at Lions Gate in Overland Park, Kansas. Andres has also been a certified Custom Club Fitter at Taylor Made since 2004. His career highlights include PGA Philadelphia Section Merchandiser of the Year for the Resorts category in 2009 and 2011, as well as PGA Philadelphia Section Central Counties Points List from 2003-2012.
