Welcoming Our Future in 2017

Our renovation of the Sammons Wing guest rooms is well underway, as we begin the new year. This season will also see the new additions of a Relax Well Pod to our world-class Spa and brand new Outdoor Pavilion. Our room renovations and the installation of the Rest Well Pod are scheduled to be completed by late spring 2017 with the Pavilion to follow in the fall.

Sammons Wing Rooms Recently Renovated

Since the beginning of its existence, the Grove Park Inn has captured the hearts of travelers seeking the peaceful tranquility of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Its allure has withstood the test of time, securing a permanent spot as a landmark in history. We intend to pay tribute to the Arts & Crafts style in which it was created, yet meet the demands of the modern traveler as we renovate all 204 rooms located in our Sammons Wing.

Relax Well Pod

The Spa has received a new addition of a Relax Well Treatment Pod which will allow our spa guests to experience first-class relaxation and cutting-edge wellness technology.

The Relax Well Pod, used in our current Color and Light Wrap with Aura Imaging Treatment, is also available for some new and innovative body treatments! This multi-sensory pod includes 12 different programs that can enhance the traditional body treatment or wellness regime. Unique features include: Adjustable thermal sauna, whole body massage vibration and gem therapy, calming rejuvenating aromatherapy, mood enhancing ambient lights, healing salt mist and soothing music. This comfortable, relaxing, healing pod results in the ultimate treatment experience.

The Seely Pavilion - To Be Completed By December Of 2017

This Arts & Crafts inspired pavilion is designed not only to better serve our guests but to honor the style and craftsmanship of our historic Main Inn and to showcase the abundant natural beauty and stunning scenery of the property. Exposed trusses, reclaimed wood and a stacked hearth around the large fireplace will provide a rustic ambiance, while polished concrete flooring and modern technical amenities ensure the Pavilion provides up-to-date conveniences. The structure also features six pairs of picturesque, floor-to-ceiling doors and windows, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountain range and our lush Donald Ross-designed golf course.
