Driving Directions To Our Downtown Chicago Hotel
Please Note: Omni Chicago Hotel is located at 676 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. If you are traveling with a GPS or via a ridesharing service, we recommend entering the hotel's entire address rather than simply entering "Omni Chicago Hotel" for the most accurate directions to our downtown Chicago hotel.
DIRECTIONS FROM CHICAGO O’HARE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL – 17 MILES/35 MINUTES
Take I-90 East (toward downtown Chicago) to where it joins with I-94. Take the Ohio Street exit and continue to Michigan Avenue. Turn left onto Michigan Avenue and go 3 blocks to Huron Street. The hotel is located on the left at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Huron Street.
DIRECTIONS FROM CHICAGO MIDWAY AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL – 13 MILES
Take Cicero Avenue north out of the airport to Highway 55 North (Stevenson Highway) to I-90/94 West. Exit I-90/94 West at Ohio Street. Go .5 miles east on Ohio Street to Michigan Avenue. Turn left onto Michigan Avenue and go 3 blocks to Huron Street. Turn left onto Huron Street, and the hotel is on the left.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE NORTH – NORTH IL, KENOSHA, RACINE AND MILWAUKEE, WI TO THE HOTEL
Take the I-94 Illinois Tollway South to the Edens Expressway (also I-94). The Edens will join with I-90. Continue on I-94/I-90 East to downtown Chicago. Exit Ohio Street and continue 8 blocks to Michigan Avenue. Turn left onto Michigan Avenue and continue 3 blocks to Huron Street. Turn left onto Huron Street, and the hotel is on the corner on your left side.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE NORTHWEST – ROCKFORD TO THE HOTEL
Follow the signs going east indicating "Downtown Chicago" (also I-90 Kennedy Expressway). For your information, I-90 joins with I-94, so continue east on I-90/I-94 to downtown Chicago. Exit on Ohio Street and continue 8 blocks to Michigan Avenue. Turn left onto Michigan Avenue and continue 3 blocks to Huron Street. Turn left onto Huron Street, and the hotel is on the corner on your left side.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE SOUTH – KANKAKEE AND CHAMPAIGN/URBANA TO THE HOTEL
Take 290 East to I-90/I-94 West (also Ryan Expressway) toward downtown Chicago. Exit on Ohio Street and go 1/2 mile to Michigan Avenue. Turn left onto Michigan Avenue and go three blocks to Huron Street. Turn left onto Huron Street, and the hotel is on the left.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE SOUTHWEST – JOLIET, BLOOMINGTON/NORMAL, PEORIA AND SPRINGFIELD TO THE HOTEL
Take I-55 North (also Stevenson Expressway) toward downtown Chicago. When nearing downtown Chicago, take I-90/I-94 West to downtown. Exit Ohio Street and continue 8 blocks to Michigan Avenue. Turn left onto Michigan Avenue and continue 3 blocks to Huron Street. Turn left onto Huron Street, and the hotel is on the corner on your left side.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE WEST – DEKALB, WHEATON AND WESTERN SUBURBS TO THE HOTEL
Take I-88 East-West Tollway East to Chicago and onto I-290 (Eisenhower Expressway). Take I-290 East to I-90/94 West. Take the Ohio Street exit to Michigan Avenue. Turn left onto Michigan Avenue and go 3 blocks to Huron Street. Turn left onto Huron Street, and the hotel is on the left.
DIRECTIONS FROM UNION STATION – AMTRAK TO THE HOTEL
Depart Union Station on Canal Street (North). Turn right (East) onto Washington Street. Turn left onto North Michigan Avenue. Keep straight on North Michigan Avenue and arrive at the hotel, 676 North Michigan Avenue.
Transportation Around Chicago
- Elevated trains (The El) are identified by color of the line. The closest train station stop to Omni Chicago Hotel is four blocks away at Chicago & State on the Red Line.
- Navy Pier seasonally operates a free trolley east and west between State Street and the Pier. Pickup is at the corner of Grand and Rush Avenue (four blocks).
- Chicago Water Taxi is a great way to get around the city during the warm weather months. Cost is $2 – $4 per person and picks up at various locations in Chicago. The closest stop near the hotel is Michigan Avenue Stop (0.3 miles from the hotel), about a 7 minute walk.
