Omni Berkshire Policies

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT

Check-in: 3 PM /Check-out: Noon
Late check-out up to 4 PM may be available for an additional charge. Add on to your reservation as an enhancement or check with the front desk at check-in.

AGE POLICY

Guests must be 21 years of age to rent a room. A photo ID will be required at time of check-in.

Guests 12 years of age and under are considered children and there is no additional charge. Those guests 13 years of age and older are considered adults.

DESTINATION CHARGE

A $35 per room daily fee will be added to the daily room rate, exclusive of tax. This fee allows guests to enjoy many services and amenities without having to incur miscellaneous charges. Berkshire amenity fee includes the following (exclusive of service gratuities):

  • Premier In-room Wi-Fi
  • Two bottled waters in room per day
  • Local and long distance calls
  • 24 hour access to fitness center
  • Complimentary newspapers available at concierge     

CASH-PAYING GUESTS

A credit card is required to reserve a room. Guests wishing to pay for their stay with cash will need to pay for their stay in full plus $100 per day incidental deposit at time of check-in.

DEBIT CARD POLICY

The use of a debit card will initiate, at the time of check-in, an immediate deduction from your bank account for your room rate, inclusive of tax, for all room nights plus $100 per night for incidentals. Upon check-out, any unused funds will be credited back to your account. Based upon the business rules of your bank, it may take 72 hours or longer for your bank to process this back to your account.

GOOD NIGHT’S REST POLICY

To ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all our guests, the hotel enforces a Good Night’s Rest Policy in our guest rooms. Only registered guests are permitted to enter guest room elevators or guest rooms after 10:30 PM. All guests must be registered at check in. Please keep noise, including music and television, to a minimum. If a disturbance is created as a result of a party or noise from a guest room or suite, all guests in the room will be asked to leave the hotel without a refund. These guidelines are in place to ensure every guest enjoys a peaceful and pleasant stay in our hotel.

ENTERTAINING IN GUEST ROOMS

Please note that we do not permit outside catering services in our guest rooms and suites. All food and beverage must be purchased via our In-Room Dining department (extension #45) or our Catering and Events team (extension # 5090). Fees may apply for damage or deep cleaning needed if this policy is not followed.  

PAYING FOR ANOTHER GUEST’S ROOM

If you would like to pay for another guest’s room, please contact the hotel at (212) 753-5800.

PET POLICY

Domestic animals (dogs and cats only) under 25 pounds are allowed. A non-refundable cleaning fee of $175.00 USD will be charged per room per stay. One pet per room and they are not restricted to any room type or floor. Service animals are permitted and are exempt from pet policy.

SMOKING POLICY

The hotel is non-smoking. A non-refundable $500 cleaning fee will be applied to any guest room or suite for damage or deep cleaning needed if the non-smoking policy is not followed.

WELLNESS POLICY

Any use of Omni’s fitness centers, Fit Kits, Sleep Kits, or participation in off-site exercise classes or other programs offered by Omni (“Wellness Benefits”) is done at participant’s sole risk.  Omni shall not be liable for any injuries, loss, or damage to the participant or participant’s personal property resulting from the use of the Wellness Benefits, regardless of whether it occurs as a result of Omni’s negligence.  If the participant chooses to use the Wellness Benefits, the participant hereby expressly waives any claim of liability - for personal/bodily injury or damages - which occurs to the participant or for any loss of or injury to person or property. This waiver is intended to be a complete release of any responsibility for personal injuries and/or property loss/damage sustained by any participant while on Omni’s premises or at off-site exercise classes, whether using exercise equipment or not.

Package Handling

Guests staying at the Omni Berkshire Place may receive personal packages delivered to the hotel on their behalf. Packages must be clearly marked with guest name (the name on the hotel reservation), and arrival date. We ask that packages do not arrive earlier than 7 days prior to date of arrival on the reservation. The first 3 packages per guest room reservation are free of charge. The fee of $3 per package will be charged to any room receiving over 3 packages per stay. 
After 7 days, hotel will charge $25 per week for a storage fee, per guest room. All the packages received by the hotel must be for an individual guest with valid reservation at Omni Berkshire Place.
