The Severin Ballroom and Lobby
The Severin Ballroom at the Indianapolis Omni Severin is the perfect setting for a dramatic ceremony, utilizing the adjoining Lobby area with sweeping staircase and balconies for dinner. If hosting just the reception suits your wedding day, the Severin Ballroom makes a grand entrance for your guests for hors d'oeuvres and cocktails before the meal taking place in the Severin Lobby.
The Hotel Severin was originally built in 1913 by Henry Severin. Its former Lobby and the connecting Ballroom now serve as the premier location for most of the weddings we host at the Omni Severin Hotel each year. The original chandelier and marble staircase add to the atmosphere of this neoclassical setting which annually welcomes over eighty couples on their wedding day.
The Severin Ballroom and Lobby can accommodate approximately 350 family and friends for dinner and dancing; however for an hors d'oeuvres reception this space can accommodate over 400 guests. |
