Guest Room Accommodations
Will we get a room at the hotel on our wedding night?
For all wedding receptions of 100 guests or more held at the Omni Houston Hotel, we will provide a complimentary suite for the bride and groom on the evening of their wedding reception.
Are room blocks available for my guests at a discounted rate?
Yes, we will offer reduced guestroom blocks for the weekend of the wedding reception.
How do my guests reserve a room?
The room block will be opened in both the bride’s last name and the groom’s last name. Guests can contact our reservations department and ask for the block by the group name(s) to reserve a guestroom at the discounted rate.
Parking
Is parking available for my guests?
Parking is available within the Omni parking garage. Valet parking is $8.00 per car for the event, and $18 per car overnight. Self parking is $6.00 per car for the event, and $8 per car overnight. If the bride and groom would like to provide complimentary parking for guests, the Omni will arrange all parking to be billed to the bride and groom’s master account at $5.00 per car for self or valet parking. Complimentary parking is available in the Riverway parking garage located in the back of the hotel.
Decorations
Can I bring my own decorations?
You may bring your own décor for the reception. However, please note that all décor must be approved through your catering manager prior to the reception.
Audio-Visual Equipment
Do you provide audio-visual equipment?
Our audio-visual department can certainly assist with audio-visual needs for your special event. Please feel free to contact the Omni Houston Hotel audio-visual department for any questions regarding audio-visual questions, pricing and/or equipment for your upcoming event.
Attendance
When do I need to notify the hotel with the number of guests attending?
The final guarantee is due 72 business hours prior to the event.
Staffing
Can I request extra staffing for my event?
The Omni Houston Hotel can certainly provide extra staffing if requested. Additional staffing fees will apply.
Food & Beverage
Can we bring our own food or alcohol?
All food and beverage must go through the hotel except for wedding cakes, grooms cakes and edible party favors.
Can we make changes to our menu selections?
Yes, you can make changes to your menu selection up to 60 days prior to the event date.
