Wedding Ceremonies
What documents do I need in order to have a civil ceremony in Cancun?
The bride, groom and witnesses must be in Cancun, at least three working days in advance of the wedding date, as they must sign the Application for Marriage forms. The wedding coordinator must receive the following documents in order to go to the Civil Registry Office to fill out the corresponding Application for Marriage.
Please bring with you Clear Photocopies of:
1. Tourist Cards: You will receive them on the aircraft or upon arrival at the Cancun airport.
2. Passports are Mandatory for Bride, Groom and Witnesses. Birth Certificates are only accepted if they are authenticated for use abroad as per the Hague Convention of 1961. For more information on obtaining birth certificate authentication, please consult your Omni Wedding Coordinator. We highly recommend the use of passports. This requisite is very important in order to get married in Cancun. It is mandatory to have Passports or the Birth certificates from the couple. If you are using passports, please also bring copies of your birth certificates.
3. Blood Tests: Blood tests must be taken in Cancun. The tests must include blood type, Venereal disease and Aids tests, and must be taken within 15 days prior to the wedding date. Results are written on a medical doctor’s letterhead, also stating that the couple is physically and mentally in good health.
4. Bring originals of final Divorce Decrees or Death Certificates, if applicable.
5. Witnesses (four): The names, addresses, ages, nationalities, occupation, relationship, Tourist Cards and Passports (mandatory) of four witnesses is required. If the couple is traveling alone, we can supply the witnesses among our associates working in the hotel.
6. Fee of US $ 430.00: (subject to change) to be paid to the cashier at the Civil Registry Office. This fee includes the Registration fee, Marriage Certificate, and Judge performing ceremony at the Omni Cancun Hotel. (Price is subject to change.)
What documents are needed in order to have a religious ceremony in Cancun?
If you prefer only a religious ceremony performed by a Christian pastor, the donation for the church is $250.00 US dollars, and you do not need to present any documents. You can obtain your marriage license in the United States.
NOTE: Religious weddings are not legal under International Law.
Wedding Services
Will a wedding coordinator be assigned to me to assist with the ceremony and other arrangements?
A coordinator will be available to assist you with any of the above requirements and to act on your behalf for any arrangements that are necessary before your arrival in Cancun; i.e. presenting documentation and blood test at the Civil Registry Office , completing application for marriage certificate, arranging flowers, photographer, etc. US $ 70.00
Flowers
What are the costs for floral arrangements and bouquets?
We offer a complete flower package for approximately $390. Package includes bridal bouquet, two round bridesmaid bouquets, 3 boutonnieres, 5 small centerpieces, 1 large centerpiece and flowers for the cake. If the complete flower package does not meet your needs you can order them individually:
- Bride’s Bouquet, round or cascade shaped with tropical flowers or roses (brightly or pale colored flowers)-US $ 65.00
(Orchids ,Gardenias and Holland tulips are upon request and price will be higher)
- Bridesmaids bouquet - US $ 40.00
- Groom’s Boutonniere and or corsages - US $ 7.00
- Corsage (wrist) - US $ 18.00
- Fresh Floral Centerpiece - US $ 40.00
- Six Pedestals with flowers and tulle - US $250.00

Photographer
What type of photography packages are available?
Color, black and white and sepia, digital photography is available. Packages from $350 to $1,300.00 usd available. Contact your wedding coordinator to request a quote.
Music / Entertainment
What type of music/entertainment is available?
The following is a list of entertainment available:
- DJ - US $ 800.00 / for 5 hours
- Mexican Trio - US $400.00 / set of 45 minutes + 10% tax
- Dance Band (6 pieces) - US $850.00 / set of 45 minutes + 10% tax
- Mariachi (6 to 8 men) - US $800.00 / set of 45 minutes + 10% tax

Other
Do you offer Laundry / Steam cleaning for wedding dresses?
The hotel offers Valet service, dry clean and steam. Please call the Concierge in advance in order to have your wedding dress on time.
