Guest Room Accommodations
Will we get a room at the hotel on our wedding night?
With purchase of the wedding package, a Bridal suite will be offered complimentary to the bride and groom for the night of the wedding.
Are room blocks available for my guests at a discounted rate?
A courtesy block of guestrooms, up to 50 rooms per night, can be arranged at a discounted rate for your guests. Rates are based on availability of rooms and dates. Please inquire with your sales manager.
How do my guests reserve a room?
Your guests can reserve sleeping rooms directly by contacting the Reservations department at 1-888-444-OMNI. Please have the last names of the bride and groom available when calling to make a reservation.
Parking
Is parking available for my guests?
Discounted event parking is available please ask your wedding specialist for rates. This rate can not be applied to overnight rates. All parking is based on availability.
Decorations
Can I bring my own decorations?
Absolutely! The hotel is happy to discuss and help your decorator accommodate your decoration ideas for your special day.
Audio-Visual Equipment
Do you provide audio-visual equipment?
We do have our own audio-visual department within the hotel. Please contact PSAV Presentation Services directly at 202-797-8317.
Attendance
When do I need to notify the hotel with the number of guests attending?
72 business hours prior to the event.
Staffing
Can I request extra staffing for my event?
Surely. Extra fees apply for additional staffing outside the hotel service guidelines.
- Standing cocktail reception – 1 per 100 guests
- Standing reception with food – 1 per 50 guests
- Meal Service – 1 per 10 guests
- Buffet – 1 per 20 guests
Food & Beverage
Can we bring our own food or alcohol?
The Omni Shoreham Hotel must provide all alcohol. Please call for details regarding outside caterers.
Can we make changes to our menu selections?
Absolutely! The culinary team and catering staff will be happy to help you customize a menu for your special day. Additional fees may apply depending on selected items.
Ceremonies
What types of wedding ceremonies does the hotel offer?
Outdoor Ceremony on Gazebo Lawn
Includes white folding lawn chairs seating as many as 250 people.
Wedding ceremonies held in the Gazebo require a back up room to be held for weather related emergencies. The room rental fee for the gazebo, back up room and sound system for outside area (2 microphones, 1-4 channel mixer, 4 power speakers) is $5,000.00. There will be a $3.00 per person surcharge for ceremonies seating greater than 250 guests.
