Alpha and Anish held their beautiful multi-day South Asian wedding at the Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas in Dallas, TX. At the recommendation of their wedding planner, the couple landed here for what was a domestic destination wedding with families traveling near and far from Midland, TX and Charlotte, NC.
On the wedding day, the bride and groom opted for two very different event design styles. The ceremony was what they described as “modern traditional” and the reception, “icy modern.” The night before they also invited guests to the Sangeet, which had a look inspired by “Bombay fusion.”
The weekend had oodles of excitement, plenty of dancing, lots of tradition, and even a few wedding day surprises – like the couple coming out on the dance floor in a golf cart!

So how did the wedding go according to the bride and groom? “The Omni surpassed all of our expectations! From the amazing staff to the grand hotel and well-appointed guest rooms, everything was perfect. The presidential suite and governor’s suite were the icing on the cake! The wedding weekend was memorable in every way and all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed it – in fact they still rave about it a year later! None of it would have been possible without all of our amazing vendors and the extremely talented K.I. Weddings team, who were always there to make sure our expectations became reality!”
