Believe it or not, Mother’s Day is right around the corner. It may take a little extra creativity to show your mom how much she means to you this year, but with the help of some of our experts, we’ve created a Mother’s Day gift guide to ensure that this Mother’s Day is memorable for all of the right reasons.

Deliver A Fresh Meal

Treat mom to a delectable meal by delivering dinner to her doorstep. Try a meal that’s easy to pack and doesn’t need to stay warm like our Mango Spinach salad . Or, prepare her favorite comfort food in an oven-ready dish so that she can heat it up when the time is right. If your mom is further than a short drive away, you can order a meal from her favorite local restaurant and have it delivered. Make the delivery even more personal by including fresh flowers or a Mother’s Day card. The possibilities are endless, and she’s sure to enjoy a delicious meal without the clean-up.

Customize A Gift Based On Her Favorite Pastimes

If your mother has taken up a new hobby or is spending more time on one of her passions, send her materials so that she won’t have to worry about going out to get supplies.

For the Gardener:

If your mother is new to gardening, try a starter pack from Gardenuity. This innovative service helps gardeners grow herbs and vegetables. Each giftable garden includes fully rooted live plants so she can get started right away. Their gardens can even grow on patios, porches or balconies.

For The Crafter:

If mom’s passion is sewing, send her a curated project kit with premium yarn and exclusive patterns for knitting and crocheting with KnitCrate. Mom can pass the time while brushing up on her skills with three easy-to-follow patterns for accessories and socks in each crate.

For The Artist:

With the Monthly Coloring Club, your mom will receive themed adult coloring books which provide a wealth of wellness benefits. In addition to carefree entertainment, coloring promotes mindfulness, positivity and decreases stress.

Order A Handmade Gift From A Small Business

The perfect place to find sentimental gifts for mom, Etsy sources an endless assortment of unique handcrafted items. With so many options to choose from, our own Director of Retail, Joanne Dalheim, put together a list of her favorites to help you find the perfect gift. Her personal recommendations include custom portraits hand-drawn from your favorite photographs, a personalized recipe plate to keep as a memento of your favorite family recipe, and a fun coupon book which your mom can redeem for an outing on another day. Not only will you find something one-of-a-kind, but you’ll also support local businesses around the world.

Take a Front Porch Portrait

Gift your mom a keepsake she’ll have forever with a front porch portrait of the family. Photographers in cities across the country have jumped on the front porch photo trend designed to lift our spirits during this historic time. Contact a local photographer to take your front porch portraits from a safe distance, then have your portrait framed for a sentimental gift. Join the trend on social media by sharing your photo with #FrontPorchPortrait.

Have Fun With A Drive-By Celebration

This newly popular trend for children’s birthdays can also work for showing mom how much she means to you and the whole gang. We recommend packing up the kids and party supplies like balloons, homemade signs and streamers to drive past Grandma’s house with the windows down and the music up. Your mom (and maybe even the neighbors) will be thrilled with the parade in her honor.

Plan An At-Home Date

If you share the same home as your mom, then plan a special date to spend some out-of-the-ordinary quality time together. Treat your mom to room service style breakfast in bed or bake a family recipe together for an afternoon tea.
