NECN’s (New England Cable News) morning show today aired their Omni Parker House segment about the completion of the $1mm “re-imagined” rooftop ballroom, and the hotel’s year long “Win Your Wedding” sweepstakes.
Omni Parker House Hotel Director of Sales and Marketing Dave Ritchie talks in the video about Parker House history that includes JFK’s proposal to Jacqueline Bouvier at Table 40 in Parker’s Restaurant, culinary achievements like the Boston Cream Pie, and this year’s sweepstakes.
The Omni Parker House has been one of the most sought-after Boston wedding venues since 1855, and The Knot has designated it “Best Wedding Venue” in Boston, 2008-2012. The hotel has a wonderful history, and has entertained the likes of Ulysses S. Grant, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, William Jefferson Clinton, and many others. Omni Hotels & Resorts was designated “Highest in Hotel Guest Satisfaction Among Upper-Upscale Hotel Chains” by J.D. Power and Associates in 2012, and appropriately to the countless couples that visit Parker House each year, was voted “Best Place for Rekindling Romance” by CBS Boston 2012.
