Recently, my go-to esthetician decided to become a stay-at-home mom. Now, there is nothing wrong with that. I, myself, was one for some time. But the feeling of not having someone I could visit for a regular facial — and know the outcome — left me in fear. Yes even Spa Travel Gal needs a go-to spa to call her home base.
Well, I am fearful no more. The Serenity Spa at the Omni Hotel Atlanta has come to my rescue. I now have a new go-to destination for a relaxing experience with great results.
Let me tell you a little about my visit.
As soon as we arrived, the Spa Manager, Lorraine Beezley, welcomed me and my spa gal pal, Chelsea of Married Filing Jointly.
Lorraine led us to the newly remodeled ladies room, which also has an enticing sauna. As a hotel guest, a sauna located near the fitness center shows me the hotel really cares about the wellness of its guests. The views of the Atlanta SkyView from the fitness center connected to the Serenity Spa are also remarkable.
After changing into the spa’s super soft robes and my favorite spa sandals from OKAb, we were able to relax with some lovely spa snacks before we were escorted to our spa treatment rooms. I opted for the Serenity Signature Facial with a bio-stimulation add-on, since I was attending a wedding that weekend and needed to refresh. Chelsea chose a hot stone massage with the sinus add-on, to sooth her road warrior needs.
The spa treatment room was the perfect temperature. It also had a comfortable treatment table with back cushion, and soothing music.
Airica, my new fave esthetician, inquired if anything needed adjustment, but all was perfect. By the time we discussed my skin concerns and she described my treatment, I realized I was already in a state of zen. That is just how comfortable these treatment rooms feel.
Not only was Airicia’s technique grand, she also apparently performed the perfect steps to rewind time at least a few months for my face. She used products from SkinPh, which I have fallen in love with after experiencing the results of this facial. Even Dr. Oz touts the anti-aging benefits of this line. When I look in the mirror I see a glow again. This facial not only brightened my face, but my day, too. Airica my new fav esthetician (please don’t have any babies soon) will be seeing me again!
The Omni spa is a perfect location to unwind and retreat, yet it’s still convenient to all that Atlanta has to offer. Serenity Spa at the Omni Hotel Atlanta is the perfect locale to be your go-to spa, girlfriend getaway, business retreat and more. The comfort and Zen level here is a Perfect 10.
