For the seafood lovers out there, Chef Gabino Acosta from Trevi’s Restaurant in the Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas provides one of his own tailgate recipes, Chipotle Shrimp Tacos. Chef Gabino said, “Chipotle Shrimp Tacos are one of my favorite memories from seaside visits in my youth.” Shrimp may not be your typical tailgating food, but these tacos will stand out and become a crowd favorite at your table.
Finally, Omni Fort Worth‘s Chef Sebastien Layen of the Cast Iron restaurant serves up a world class spin on a childhood favorite, Frito Pie. This recipe includes a modified version of his famous Venison Chili Recipe packed with Fritos corn chips and plenty of cheese. Pair your favorite chips with a world class chili and you have an award-winning Frito pie. Talk about bragging rights!
