Located in the heart of downtown, and just minutes from the Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center, Philips Arena is ranked among the top 10 arenas in the country. The arena is home to the Atlanta Hawks and the Atlanta Dream, the NBA and WNBA basketball teams of Atlanta. Since opening 17 years ago, the arena has welcomed hundreds of athletes from around the country and hosted countless iconic performers. Annually, the venue hosts 160 events and welcomes over one-and-a-half million visitors.
The arena offers 23 concession options and five mini grab-and-go restaurants. There are two anchor restaurants, Taco Mac and RED by Wind Creek featuring the Svedka Bar. Taco Mac serves classic American food alongside craft beers in a comfortable sports bar environment. Inside RED, guests can look into the show kitchen to observe the chefs preparing their food, or simply watch the game from tiered seating while dining inside the restaurant.
Once inside the arena, attendees will find seating for over 18,000 guests - including 1,886 club seats, 92 private suites, 12 boxes, 12 retails outlets and 26 restrooms.
Things to Know Before Visiting Philips Arena
- The doors of the arena typically open 90 minutes before the start of a basketball game. Similarly, the doors open for guests 90 minutes before the start time of a concert.
- Large bags, backpacks, outside food and drinks are prohibited to bring inside Philips Arena.
- Tickets are required for entry, re-entry is prohibited even with a ticket.
