During this unprecedented time we have made changes as necessary to adhere to new policies put in place for each respective location. In addition to our original cleaning and operating standards, we are adding additional ways to meet guest expectations and strict cleaning guidelines. At various times there may be changes in operations to valet offerings, amenities, service protocols, etc. due to the nature of the Covid response. We appreciate your patience during this time as we maintain efforts to adhere to all measures put in place to ensure the safety of our guests and associates.

NOTICE: At Omni Hotels & Resorts, the health and safety of our guests and associates has always been our top priority.

On January 12, 2021, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued an Order requiring all air passengers arriving to the US from a foreign country to get tested no more than 3 days before their flight departs and to present the negative result or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 to the airline before boarding the flight. This Order will go into effect at 12:01am EST (5:01am GMT) on January 26, 2021. Test required: NAAT/PCR or de Antigen.

Omni Cancun Hotel & Villas will be applying the following measures to continue supporting our guests.

  • Guests staying until the night of March 31st, have the Antigen test included as a hotel courtesy, regardless of when they made their reservation.
  • Guests staying from April 1st onwards, and who have made their reservation before March 13th, also have the Antigen test included.
  • Guests staying from April 1st, and who made their reservation from March 13th, must pay for the Antigen test and the payment will be made directly with the third party supplier.
  • The PCR test has never been included for anyone, so all the guests who required this kind of test must pay for it, directly to the third party supplier.
  • Both tests, PCR and / or Antigen are still offered for the comfort and safety of our guests within the Omni Cancun Hotel facilities. Tests are taking place in private and safety area on site, from Monday to Saturday, from 10am to 4:30 pm, by previous appointment.
  • The Antigen test has a preferential cost for our guests of $ 347MXN (Mexican pesos), tax included. This test is delivered same day after taking it.
  • The PCR test has a preferential cost for our guests of $ 100USD, tax included. This test is delivered 24 hours after taking it.
  • The tests are performed for guest from 2 years old and onwards, and according of each origin guest country requirements.
  • Guests are free to choose the laboratory where they will perform the test, the hotel only grants the facilities as a customer service, and does not undertake any obligation, not with the guest, not with the service provider.

Food and beverge will be a la carte with international menus for breakfast 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Lunch 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and dinner 5:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
The deli and coffee are available 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Room service is available 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. through the app, GuestU.
The lobby bar is open 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. The pool bar is open 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Pool / Fitness Center
The pool and beach are free access, but guests may want to follow the social distance required
and no groups of more than ten people together are allowed for their own safety.
The gym is open by reservation only through the app, GuestU.
The spa is open by reservation only through the app, GuestU.
