With over five years of management and hospitality experience, Rachel is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Food Science Human Nutrition and Dietetics. She enjoys working and having fun at this beautifully historic resort. Rachel is highly qualified to help you plan the perfect wedding with past experience in Cincinnati and Charlotte. In her free time, you can find her spending time with her husband and two beautiful children.
A native of New Jersey, Esme attended William and Mary to pursue a career as a high school English teacher. However, during a summer job at the Williamsburg Inn, she discovered her love of the hospitality industry. She remained in Williamsburg for 10 years and was promoted to conference services manager where she was responsible for the Summit of Industrialized Nations, the most memorable event in her career. Later, she was named corporate secretary of Colonial Williamsburg Hotel Properties and assistant secretary of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. Esme left Williamsburg to join The Homestead team as a conference services manager and volunteered to handle weddings. Over the past 20 years, she has worked with nearly 500 weddings at The Homestead, The Greenbrier, Gasparilla Inn and Club and Boar’s Head Resort.
