Esme Pitard - Catering and Conference Services Manager

A native of New Jersey, Esme attended William and Mary to pursue a career as a high school English teacher. However, during a summer job at the Williamsburg Inn, she discovered her love of the hospitality industry. She remained in Williamsburg for 10 years and was promoted to conference services manager where she was responsible for the Summit of Industrialized Nations, the most memorable event in her career. Later, she was named corporate secretary of Colonial Williamsburg Hotel Properties and assistant secretary of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. Esme left Williamsburg to join The Homestead team as a conference services manager and volunteered to handle weddings. Over the past 20 years, she has worked with nearly 500 weddings at The Homestead, The Greenbrier, Gasparilla Inn and Club and Boar’s Head Resort.

Lori Hicks - Wedding and Catering Sales Manager

With a hospitality career spanning more than 30 years, Lori brings a wealth of experience to her role as Wedding and Catering Sales Manager. She began her career at The Omni Homestead in the Dining Room and also has experience in banquets, retail, group sales and human resources. In her current role, she returns to the sales team where she is responsible for weddings, reunions and other social events. Lori brings a passion for incorporating each couple’s personality into their wedding to make their special day a memorable one. In addition to her tenure at The Homestead, she has also worked for The Greenbrier and The Boar’s Head. A native of the Allegheny Highlands, Lori is the mother of two and her son, Hayden, is an instructor at The Homestead Shooting Club.

Caroline Steele - Catering and Conference Services Manager

A graduate of James Madison University, Caroline earned a degree in Hospitality Management with a minor in Business. Her passion for weddings is rooted in envisioning her own perfect day and she applies that same passion to every wedding she handles. Caroline is experienced with wedding planning and execution, meetings, special events and conferences. In her time away from work, Caroline enjoys visiting her family, gardening and taking in the beautiful mountain views of Bath County. Caroline is excited to work with you and be a part of your special experience here at The Omni Homestead!
