Summer of Champions

 

• Family Adventures happen all summer long. Check our Summer Resort Guide so your family can race into the summer fun, including Corn Hole Toss, Pickup Basketball, Kick and Frisbee Golf, Kids Explorer Challenge, Fun Runs, Lazy River Duck Race, Pickle Ball, Mini Golf, Giant Game Challenge, Lawn Games, Family Puzzle, Field Games 


• Weekend Splash Parties at the family pool with live DJ on select dates: May 25-27, June 15, 22, 29, July 4, 6, 13, 20, 27, Aug 3, 10, 31 & September 1-2.


• Surrey bike rentals: available daily from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. Driver must be at least 18 years of age and all riders must wear close toed shoes. One bench surrey $20 half hour, two bench surrey $25 half hour.


• Dive-in Movies at the wave pool, Saturdays at 8:30 p.m. Check with the Pool Towel Hut for the Dive-in Movie feature. 


• Kids Explorer Challenge: Kid friendly scavenger hunt around the resort for toy prizes. Get your map at the Pool Towel Hut.


• Summer of Champions Challenge: Family friendly scavenger hunt and selfie contest for fun prizes. Get your map at the Pool Towel Hut.


• Family Puzzle Competition: Fridays at 4 p.m. in Camp Omni. ($5 take home puzzle)


• Tie Die T-Shirts: Sundays at 3 p.m. at the Kid’s Pool. $15 each.


• Fireworks on select dates at 9 p.m.: May 25, July 4, 6, 13, 20, 27, August 3 and 31 

• Night Glow Golf: Join us on Champions 9 and watch the course come to life at night with glowing greens, bunkers, fairways and more. Fridays at 8:30 p.m. $15.00 per adult and $8.50 per child


• Gamer Golf: Ever wanted to use something other than a golf club to tee off? Then join us on Champions 9 for the ultimate gaming twist to a round of golf. Saturdays at 3 p.m. $15 per adult and $8.50 per child.

• Omni Leadbetter Golf Clinic: Clinics covering all skill levels, Wednesdays at 4 p.m. at the Leadbetter Golf Academy (free shuttle to and from the academy) $50 per person. Minimum of three persons required. Call 407-787-3330 to register.


• Leadbetter Kids: Saturday mornings for ages 4 and up at the Leadbetter Golf Academy (free shuttle to and from the academy). Call 407-787-3330 to register. Age groups and class times: ages 4-5 from 9-9:45 a.m.; ages 6-8 from 10-11 a.m.; ages 9-11 from 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.; ages 12 and up from 12:30-1:30 p.m. $30 per child.


• Kayak and Shore Fishing on the private waters of ChampionsGate: Catch trophy large-mouth bass on one of our pristine lakes. Adults $40, kids 17 and under $20. Trips are guided and include all equipment and license. Closed-toe shoes required.


• Fly Fishing Seminar:  From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m., Mondays and Fridays at Golf Course Commons. Up to 90 minutes of casting instruction followed by shore fishing. $150 adult, $100 kids, 17 and under.


• Bass Master Seminar:  From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Sundays and Thursdays.  Up to 90 minutes of casting instruction followed by shore fishing. $150 adult, $100 kids, 17 and under.


• Eco Tours: Explore 800 acres of pristine wildlife habitat conducted by our master naturalist. Two hour tours include one hour golf cart ride and one hour kayak trip. Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. Adults $50, kids 17 and under, $25.

CULINARY

• Summer of Passion Fruit: Inspired dishes, refreshing drinks and kid’s menu available all summer at Croc’s Pool Bar & Grille.


• Culinary Kids: Kid-friendly, delicious and crafted to please, served in Trevi's. From banana skewers dipped in fruity pebbles for breakfast to Chinese takeout, and a bag o’donuts for dessert. Yum!


• Sushi demonstration: Learn the art of sushi making Fridays and Saturdays at 4 p.m. in Zen. $15 per person. 


• Family Pizza Making: Families make their own pizzas in Trevi’s Fridays and Saturdays at 5 p.m. $12 per pizza. 


• Sunday Prosecco Brunch at Trevi’s with bottomless Prosecco mimosas from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. $32 per person plus tax and gratuity.


• Teach & Taste Wine Series: Favorite wine and food pairings from 2-3 p.m.on select dates at the Kid’s pool. $14 per person.


• Grillin & Chillin: Learn Chef McDonough’s “flip once grilling technique” Sundays from 2-3 p.m. at Trevi’s Terrazza. $15 per person.


• Mixology Madness: Join us at the Lobby Bar for a cocktail mixology lesson Saturdays at 4 p.m. Cost is based on the cocktail of your choice.


• Meet our Chefs: A personalized one-hour kitchen tour and meet and greet with our chefs, along with an interactive cookie or pastry activity. Closed toe shoes are required.  Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. Call the concierge to register by 10 a.m.


• Picnic Baskets with blanket, champagne and snacks for fireworks viewing, only $15. Available in Broadway Deli during firework dates.


• S’more Kits are available for sale in Broadway Deli for $10.
