Say Cheese to the Night of Trees
Omni Shoreham Hotel is proud to partner with Special Olympics D.C. for their annual Night of Trees Gala. Our promenades will be decked with 18 holiday trees for auction at the gala. Have your family holiday photo captured at the trees before or after your Thanksgiving feast from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. by the photographers at EPNAC, for a suggested donation of $20, to benefit our friends at Special Olympics D.C. And, you’re in luck! The holiday trees are available for bidding beginning November 22 - December 2 here.
Special Olympics District of Columbia (SODC) provides free sports training and Olympic style competition to nearly 1,600 DC residents with intellectual disabilities every year. Your participation supports programs that help athletes participate as productive and respected members of society at large, by offering them a fair opportunity to develop and demonstrate their skills and talents through sports training and competition, and by increasing the public's awareness of their capabilities and needs.
