Driving Directions

From Atlanta - 500 miles, 9 hours driving time

Take I-85 North to I-77. Then take I-77 North to I-81 North. From I-81 North, take Exit #150 B (Troutville/U.S. 220 north exit). Follow 220 North to Clifton Forge (follow the signs to I-64 West to Covington). Take I-64 West to Exit #16 A (the first Covington exit). At Exit #16 A, pick up U.S. 220 North and follow U.S. 220 North to The Homestead. Note: Do not follow Rt. 606 from Clifton Forge.

From Charleston, West Virginia - 140 miles, 3.5 hours driving time

Take I-64 East to Exit #16. Turn left at the first set of traffic lights and take another left at the next set of traffic lights onto U.S. 220 North. Take U.S. 220 North to The Homestead.

From Charlotte, North Carolina - 250 miles, 4 hours driving time

Take I-77 North to I-81 North. From I-81 North, take Exit #150 B (Troutville/U.S. 220 north exit). Follow 220 North to Clifton Forge (follow the signs to I-64 West to Covington). Take I-64 West to Exit #16 A (the first Covington exit). At Exit #16 A, pick up U.S. 220 North and follow U.S. 220 North to The Homestead. Note: Do not follow Rt. 606 from Clifton Forge.

From Newport News - 230 miles, 4.5 hours driving time

Take I-64 West to I-81 South. On I-81 South, take Exit #220, which will put you on Route 262 North. Take Route 262 to Route 254 West (the Parkersburg Pike exit). Route 254 becomes Route 42 South and then Route 42 becomes Route 39 West. Take Route 39 to U.S. 220 South and follow U.S. 220 south to The Homestead.

From New York - 450 miles, 8 hours driving time

Take I-78 West to I-81 South. On I-81 South, take Exit #220, which will put you on Route 262 North. Take Route 262 to Route 254 West (the Parkersburg Pike exit). Route 254 becomes Route 42 South and then Route 42 becomes Route 39 West. Take Route 39 to U.S. 220 South and follow U.S. 220 south to The Homestead.

From Philadelphia - 340 miles, 6 hours driving time

Take I-76 West to I-81 South. On I-81 South, take Exit #220, which will put you on Route 262 North. Take Route 262 to Route 254 West (the Parkersburg Pike exit). Route 254 becomes Route 42 South and then Route 42 becomes Route 39 West. Take Route 39 to U.S. 220 South and follow U.S. 220 south to The Homestead.

From Pittsburgh - 250 miles, 5 hours driving time

Take I-79 South to U.S. 33 East, then take U.S. 33 East to Route 250 South to Monterey. Turn right on U.S. 220 South to The Homestead.

From Raleigh - 240 miles, 4.5 hours driving time

Take NC I-40 West to Greensboro and then 68 North just outside Greensboro at the Piedmont Triad International airport exit. From 68 North, take Route U.S. 220 North to I-581 North (U.S. 220 North merges into I-581). Follow I-581 North to I-81 North.

From I-81 North, take Exit #150 B (Troutville/U.S. 220 north exit). Follow 220 North to Clifton Forge (follow the signs to I-64 West to Covington). Take I-64 West to Exit #16 A (the first Covington exit). At Exit #16 A, pick up U.S. 220 North and follow U.S. 220 North to The Homestead. Note: Do not follow Rt. 606 from Clifton Forge.

From Richmond - 180 miles, 3 hours driving time

Take I-64 West to I-81 South. On I-81 South, take Exit #220, which will put you on Route 262 North. Take Route 262 to Route 254 West (the Parkersburg Pike exit). From Roanoke - 75 miles, 1.5 hours driving time

Take Route U.S. 220 North to I-581 North (220 merges into I-581). Take I-581 North to I-81 North. From I-81 North, take Exit #150 B (Troutville/U.S. 220 north exit).
