OMNI CHICAGO HOTEL MAKES FEBRUARY THE HOTTEST MONTH OF THE YEAR

CHICAGO (February 1, 2008) — February just became a bit sweeter in Chicago as Omni Chicago Hotel celebrates the month known for love with romantic overnight packages, mouthwatering menus, charming champagnes and a 15 percent discount in honor of Leap Day. Guests will be delighted with special offerings at 676 Restaurant & Bar.

“February is set to be one of the most exciting months of the year – with Valentine’s Day, Leap Day and Michigan Avenue’s champagne celebration,” said Bill Bennett, area director of sales for the Omni Chicago Hotel. “We wanted to do something unique to celebrate each special occasion so our guests enjoy all this month has to offer.”

Working in tandem with the Greater North Michigan Avenue Association’s February champagne celebration, Omni Chicago Hotel’s 676 Restaurant & Bar will feature sparkling flights of Californian, Italian and French bubbly. Paired with Midwest cheeses or a decadent chocolate dessert, guests will savor both the tastes and experiences of the Omni Chicago Hotel. To top it off, 676 Restaurant & Bar is offering 15 percent off all tabs throughout the month of February to honor Leap Year 2008.

For those in need of romance this month, the Omni Chicago Hotel is helping couples relive the memories that matter to them most with the Déjà Vu guest package. Available just in time for Valentine’s Day, the Omni Chicago Hotel will help couples recreate memorable experiences and momentous occasions. Once a package is booked, guests will receive a call from the concierge to customize the stay.

Whether it’s designing a custom menu from the couple’s first date or making other arrangements, concierges will be ready to replicate a romantic experience reminiscent of guests’ fondest memories.

Lastly, 676 Restaurant & Bar is offering a special four-course pre-fix menu on February 14, for $68. From smoked chicken soup and basted salmon to lobster spring rolls and house-spun sorbets, Executive Chef Daven Wardkynski has created a succulent menu not to be forgotten.
