Irving, TX (August 23, 2010) – Christy Petty, treasury manager at Omni Hotels & Resorts , was named to the inaugural Corporate Hero Circle (CHC) by the American Cancer Society . The CHC is a new initiative in Dallas that partners with area professionals to provide opportunities to network with business and community leaders while working with the American Cancer Society. CHC members were tasked with raising funds to support the fight against cancer and elevating cancer awareness in their communities.
Petty was recognized as the top fundraiser, helping the group raise more than $51,000 for the American Cancer Society. Her efforts will help fund the Society’s research, education, advocacy and patient services programs.
