From guided zipline canopy tours and skiing by moonlight to historical carriage rides through a snow-covered forest, it’s not too late to enjoy New Hampshire’s largest ski area with an array of cold weather adventures.

 

Alpine and Nordic Skiing and Snowboarding

Whether an experienced skier or hitting the slopes for the first time, guests of every level can take advantage of up to 102 downhill trails and a full-service PSIA ski school, rentals, clinics and special events. Or guests can take a backcountry trip and explore 100 kilometers of interconnected trail systems encountering various levels of terrain. Weekend/Holiday lift tickets: Full day $78; $66 for resort guests. Midweek/Non-holiday lift tickets: Full day $70; $58 for resort guests. Nordic trail passes: $19; $14 for resort guests.

Bretton Woods Canopy Tour

Adventurers can reach new heights year-round and skim the white treetops descending over 1,000 feet of elevation and embracing the beauty of the surroundings while crossing suspension bridges and hiking trails as they glide down nine zip lines. At the conclusion of the tour, guests have the opportunity to race each other on the Williwaw Racing Zip, dropping off participants at the Bretton Woods Base Lodge. Guided Winter Adventures

Explore the White Mountains like never before with the resort’s new Guided Winter Adventures. Introduced this season, the adventures are led by talented team of guides who take guests of every fitness level skiing deep into the woods, climbing ice-covered cliff faces, snowshoeing to high summits and beyond. The tours include Nordic and Alpine skiing, Nordic Downhill, Snowshoe Expeditions and Custom Backcountry Adventures. Alpine & Nordic Tours: from $35 per person. Snowshoe Expeditions: from$55 per person. Custom Tours: $275 per person/day for private tours; $185 per person/day for semi-private tours; rental equipment available.

 

Dog Sledding

Guests embark on a winter expedition with a dog sled team to lead the way. Enjoy 20 or 60-minute tours as musher go on a cross-country ride. Prices from $105 per sled.

 

Skating

Guests enjoy great views or twirl under the stars on the resort’s rooftop rink. Located on the Jewell Terrace, guests will be taken away by the breathtaking views of the surrounding Presidential Mountain Range. The resort’s skating rink is open daily and provides guests with complimentary access. Skate rentals available at a rate of $5 per hour.

 

Sleigh and Carriage Rides

Take a trip back in time with horse-drawn carriage and sleigh rides. Guests bundle up for a relaxing journey as they explore the resort’s grounds and revel in the snow-stenciled surroundings. Private and semi-private tours available daily (weather permitting). Prices from $50 per couple.
