OMNI BERKSHIRE HOTEL OFFERS ‘EGGCELLENT’ EASTER ACTIVITIES AND BRUNCH

Midtown Manhattan Luxury Hotel Encourages Visitors to ‘Hop in’ for Family Fun

New York City (March 27, 2012) – The Omni Berkshire Place in Midtown Manhattan invites guests and locals to take part in its “Eggcellent” Easter activities, Sunday, April 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests can visit with the Easter Bunny, make spring-themed arts & crafts and search for candy and treats. In celebration of this event, a two and a half foot, 13-pound Neuhaus Chocolate Easter egg will be on display in the hotel’s lobby. The extravagant Easter egg, hand-made in Belgium, is one of two on display in the U.S.

The hotel’s signature restaurant, Fireside, will host an Easter Sunday brunch, offering spring inspired specials: Potato Latke with Sliced Lamb Loin & Feta Cheese, Omelet Station, Avocado Gazpacho Martini, Cornflake Crusted French Toast with Mixed Berries, Easter Egg Bread and Chocolate Hot Cross Buns.

“Hotel guests and locals alike are welcome to celebrate Easter with us,” said Trine Ackelman, director of sales & marketing at the Omni Berkshire Place. “With a 13-pound chocolate Easter Egg on site, this Easter will be one to remember; and we look forward to many ‘Eggcellent’ Easter events in the future.”

The Easter crafts and candy are complimentary for children. Brunch will be available from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $38 per person, and $16 for children under 12. Prices do not include tax and gratuity. The Omni Berkshire Place is located in the heart of Midtown at 21 East 52nd Street at Madison Avenue.
