Country Music Concert Series Showcases New Artists at Upscale Hotel’s Whiskey & Rye Bar

FORT WORTH, Texas (August 30, 2012) – The Omni Fort Worth Hotel invites guests to put some country music in their week with the hotel’s new Texas Tuesday concert series. Beginning on Tuesday, September 4 guests can come two-step to the tunes of up-and-coming Texas country music artists while enjoying Whiskey & Rye, one of Fort Worth’s favorite watering holes.

The inaugural Texas Tuesday will coincide with the hotel’s weekly Boots & Bourbon event, which offers guests a taste of featured bourbons, plus a complimentary expert shine by M.L. Leddy’s resident boot shiner. Whiskey & Rye, home to both of these events, continues to receive awards and accolades as a local favorite.

“Texas Tuesdays will bring talent and excitement to Whiskey & Rye,” said Larry Auth, area director of sales and marketing for the Omni Fort Worth Hotel. “Country music is a big part of Fort Worth culture and we are pleased to maintain this Texas tradition.”

The first artists to take the stage are Deryl Dodd on Sept. 4, Austin Allsup on Sept. 11, Brandon Steadman and Joey Green on Sept. 18 and Charla Corn on Sept. 25.
