OMNI FORT WORTH HOTEL ANNOUNCES THIRD RENDITION OF ‘COWTOWN UNPLUGGED: A SONGWRITER’S SHOWCASE’

Music Lovers to Experience Exclusive Live Concert Events & Packages

FORT WORTH, TEXAS (April 16, 2018) – Omni Fort Worth Hotel is pleased to announce the third installment of “Cowtown Unplugged: A Songwriter’s Showcase.” Fort Worth’s largest and most authentic downtown hotel invites guests to enjoy the special two-part live music event, taking place on Sunday, May 27 and Saturday, August 18. Visitors can experience the exclusive concert with package offerings starting at $199 a night.

The first series will kick off at 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 27 during the Memorial Day weekend with a line-up featuring three of country music’s most beloved singer-songwriters including headliner Radney Foster. New Country 96.3 host Hawkeye will serve as emcee, introducing the star-studded line-up, which includes:

• Radney Foster, 9:45 – 11 p.m. – Cowtown Unplugged’s headliner has over 30 years of artist cuts, leaving no question that he is an established storyteller. With eight #1 hit singles, including his own "Nobody Wins," Radney's discography contains countless hits ranging anywhere from country (Keith Urban, the Dixie Chicks, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band) to contemporary (Marc Broussard, Hootie & the Blowfish).
• Matraca Berg with special guest Jeff Hanna of Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, 8:45 – 9:30 p.m. – Matraca earned her first #1 at 18 and Grammy nomination at 22. Her music has been covered by Linda Ronstadt, Reba McEntire and Dusty Springfield just to name a few. She was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2008, and has penned timeless singles, including "Wrong Side of Memphis," "Strawberry Wine," "XXX's and OOO's (An American Girl)," and "You and Tequila."
• Grady Spencer, 8 – 8:30 p.m. – Grady Spencer and the Work is a blue-collar band, making blue-collar music, for a blue-collar world. Grady’s music melds together the grit of the old-time blues with the blood-red soil of classic country to forge a well-worn hammer of modern music.
