Omni La Costa Resort & Spa names Paul Brown as Director of Golf Course Maintenance
Announcement of Brown’s hire along with internal promotions further enhance the resort’s golf experience
CARLSBAD, CALIF., May 14, 2018 – Omni La Costa Resort & Spa announced Paul Brown has joined its Golf team as Director of Golf Course Maintenance responsible for overseeing the grounds maintenance and agronomic plans of the Champions and Legends Courses along with the Golf Performance Institute.
Bringing more than seventeen years of experience with him, Brown, a native of San Diego, most recently served as Golf Course Superintendent at Bear Creek Golf Club in Murrieta, Calif.

Omni La Costa also announced internal promotions advancing Gavin Parker, PGA to Resort Head Golf Professional and Michael Mulford, PGA to Membership Head Golf Professional. Parker, who brings over a decade of industry experience, joined La Costa in 2012 and was promoted to First Assistant in 2016. In his new role, he directs daily activities of the entire golf operation with a focus on outside operations.
Mulford joined La Costa in 2014 ago as an Assistant Golf Professional and was promoted to Tournament Coordinator in 2016. As Membership Head Golf Professional, Michael will focused on the planning and execution of The Club at La Costa’s extensive member golf event calendar along with focus on inside operations.
