BCL Summer Music Series Features Five Popular ActsLeading with GRAMMY Award Winner Steve Wariner at Luxurious Hill County Resort
AUSTIN, TX (May 27, 2014)–Today the iconic Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa announced the line-up for its second annual Barton Creek LIVE! summer music series. Nestled in the hills of Austin – considered the Live Music Capital of the world – Omni Barton Creek invites guests to stay this summer and savor the sounds of legendary artists from across the Lone Star State and the nation.Admission isavailable only to resort guests and Barton Creek Country Club members.
This year’s Barton Creek LIVE! will feature five performances, eachheld in the resort’sopen-air Resort Pavilion, a 6,000 square foot rotunda witha 40-foot observation deck offeringbreathtaking panoramic views of the Texas Hill Country. The series will kickoff with four-time GRAMMY Award winner Steve Wariner on June 27. The fullsummer line-up includes:
- June 27: Steve Wariner at 9 pm – National award-winning country music singer, songwriter and guitarist.
- July 5: Guy Forsyth at 6 pm– Fabled Texas blues singer, guitarist, harmonicist and songwriter to headline the 4th of July Weekend Festivities.
- July 18: Cory Morrow at 9 pm – Notable singer/songwriter and Texas country favorite.
- August 8: Jason Boland & The Stragglers at 9 pm – Pre-eminent red dirt/Texas country band.
- August 15: Gary P. Nunn at 9 pm – Legendary Texas country music artist.
Texas-style street foods and a full bar will be served in the Pavilion during the performances, or guests may opt to come out early before the show and dine at the family-friendly buffet served nearby in the resort’s Hill Country Dining Room. And while parents enjoy the live music, the resort is offering a campfire campout for children ages 5 to 14 complete with fireside games, stories, songs and S’mores before heading indoors for a movie and snacks.

- Red, White & Blue BBQ: The Barton Creek LIVE! Guy Forsyth performance July 5 is part of a Texas-style Independence Day BBQ beginning at 6 p.m.that day.
