4. A little piece of Europe in Big D….West Village is home to many upscale boutiques, fine wines and heavenly dining. Experience Cru Wine Bar for a lovely glass of wine, Nikita’s Russian Bar for your favorite martini or pick up a rare find at Cowboy Cool.
   
   
5. Hike, canoe, learn how to identify wildflowers or take a hayride and feed the bison. It’s not that far, but it feels like a world away the Fort Worth Nature Center.

24. Who shot JR? Pull out your boots and your 10-gallon hat and take a tour of the famous Southfork Ranch. Get lost in the memories of JR, Sue Ellen, Bobby, Ms. Ellie and the whole Ewing clan.
    
    
25. "Have wheels, will fly" should be the slogan at GPX, this newly opened attraction at Lone Star Park. Skateboarders, in-line skaters and bikers can sail off ramps, pyramids and quarter-pipes at this $1.2 million outdoor park that stretches across four acres.
