EDISON craft ales + kitchen brings together the food culture and local flavors of downtown with expansive indoor and outdoor seating with spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Named for frequent historical visits from Thomas Edison and his "Vagabonds" (Edison, Harvey Firestone and Henry Ford), EDISON serves North Carolina craft beers, small batch bourbons and hand-crafted cocktails.
The menu features regionally inspired, locally-sourced food like chicken cracklins with salt & vinegar dust, fried whole okra, chicken and waffles with local honey, Carolina scotch eggs, and veal meatballs with toasted pine nuts, gorgonzola, and porcini mushrooms.
EDISON also showcases several nationally renowned artists who celebrate the creativity of the area and call this community home. Their work is showcased in the indoor dining room.
