Nashville Hot Chicken Slider

The Second Installment of Omni Originals

As a nod to National Hamburger Month, we created an exclusive slider and beer menu that was available at our hotels and restaurants during May 2017. The menu highlighted regional favorites like a classic All American Slider, a New England Lobster Slider, a Texas Slider, a Nashville Hot Chicken Slider and a D.C. Crab Cake Slider. As part of our partnership with New Belgium Brewing Company, each slider was paired with a craft beer that complements its unique flavor.

Paired with Fat Tire


  • 1 Slider Bun
  • 2 1 oz. Burger Patties
  • 1 tbsp. American Cheese
  • 1 tsp. 1000 Island (mix 13 oz. chili sauce, 2 cups mayonnaise, 0.5 cups pickles, 1.5 eggs, 0.25 oz. Worcestershire sauce, 0.75 tsp. Tabasco sauce, 0.25 tsp onion powder, 0.25 tbsp. garlic powder)
  • 0.5 oz. Shredded Iceberg Lettuce
  • Half Slice of Tomato


  • Griddle the bun with a light amount of clarified butter
  • Top with griddled mini burgers (must be thin) topped with american cheese on each
  • Mix 1000 Island ingredients
  • Top with 1000 Island, lettuce and tomato

Lobster Slider

  • 1 Hawaiian Mini Dog Bun
  • 2 oz. Lobster Salad (mix 20 oz. lobster, 0.5 cup celery, 0.5 cup carrot, 0.25 cup shallot, 1 cup créme fraiche, 1 oz. mayonnaise, 2 tbsp. tarragon, 1 tbsp. chives, 2 count lemon zest, 1 count lemon juice, 1 tsp. salt, 0.25 tsp white pepper)


  • Griddle the bun with a light amount of clarified butter
  • Mix lobster salad ingredients
  • Open and fill with the lobster salad

  • 3 Crispy Fried Chicken Thighs
  • 2 oz. Fried Chicken Spice Oil
  • 3 oz. Coleslaw
  • 6 slices Pickles
  • 3 Slider Buns


  • Brine chicken thighs for two hours. Remove from brine and dredge in buttermilk then all purpose flour.
  • Deep fry thighs then brush with spicy oil once removed
  • Toast the slider buns with butter on a flat top
  • Toss the coleslaw
  • Place the chicken on the bun alongside coleslaw and pickles

BBQ Slider

  • 6 oz. Smoked Brisket
  • 3 oz. BBQ Sauce
  • 6 Sliced Pickles
  • 1 Slice Cheddar Cheese
  • 3 oz. Crispy Onions
  • 3 Brioche Slider Buns


  • Mix brisket with BBQ sauce and place on slider bun
  • Top with smoked cheddar cheese, pickles and crispy onions

Crab Cake Slider

D.C. Crab Cake

Paired with Voodoo Ranger 8 Hop


  • 1 Soft Slider Bun
  • 1.5 oz. Crab Cake (mix 1 cups mayo, 1.5 whole eggs, l2.25 tsp. lemon juice, 0.5 tbsp. Old Bay Seasoning, 0.5 cup minced chives, 2 tsp. salt, 0.5 tsp. cracked black pepper then fold in the 30 oz. crab meat and 2 oz. bread crumbs)
  • 1 Tbsp. Horseradish Tartar
  • 0.5 oz. Bibb Lettuce
  • Half Slice of Tomato


  • Griddle the bun with a light amount of clarified butter
  • Top with the griddled crab cake
  • Top with the tartar sauce, lettuce, tomato and top bun
