Omni Berkshire Place was built by Warren and Wemore, who also designed Grand Central Terminal as part of the "Terminal City" vision. Built 100 years ago, Grand Central Station is home to Metro North Railway accessing Upstate New York and Connecticut. There are over 68 shops including the Apple store and Grand Central Market as well as over 35 dining options including Cipriani, the historic Oyster Bar and Restaurant and the legendary Campbell Apartment for a cocktail. Omni Berkshire Place is located a short 10-minute walk away.

Things to Know Before You Go


  • Stop by the I Love NY booth in the Main Concourse for up-to-date information about the Terminal and other local attractions. While you’re there, pick up the latest directory map and special offers book to make the most of your visit.
  • Take a  tour of the historic terminal. The tour lasts 75 minutes and departs each day at 12:30 pm. The cost is $25 for adults or $20 for seniors (65+), students with valid ID, children under 10 years old, military, and MAS Members with valid ID.
