June 12, 2015 (Rancho Mirage, Calif.) - Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, Calif. has teamed up with the BMW Performance Center at The Thermal Club to offer driving experiences at one of only two BMW Performance Centers across the continent. The relaxing resort oasis set on 240 acres in the Coachella Valley will offer its REV & Recharge package starting June 15, 2015.

The BMW Performance Center offers an array of programs for drivers to take their abilities to a higher level while experiencing what a BMW can do. Located just a short drive from the resort at The Thermal Club in Thermal, Calif., the BMW Performance Center offers single- and multi-day Drivers Programs for participants to push cars to the limit (and beyond) while honing handling skills including braking, cornering and stability control. One and two-day M Schools tap the unmatched performance of BMW M models to focus on the same skills professional drivers practice on a regular basis.

Start your BMW experience with the REV & Recharge package from Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa, inclusive of:

• Luxurious accommodations 
• Exclusive two-hour drive of various BMW models, which may include:
  o The Performance Center Drive – drive an M3, M4, M5, M6, X5 and X6 for multiple laps
  o The Time Course – race against the clock on a closed course in an M3

Packages start at $389 a night for Single Occupancy. Additional drivers extra. Prices vary based on arrival/departure, number of guests and time of booking. Reservations must be made at least 14 days in advance and require a 1 night deposit at time of booking. Transportation to BMW Performance Driving School not included. Package requires a 14 day advance cancellation notice. Any reservation cancelled within 14 days of arrival will forfeit any deposit. Valid June 15 – Dec. 29, 2015, blackout dates apply.
