Celebración Navideña – Ninth Annual Tree Lighting
Tuesday, Nov. 28, 5-8 p.m.
Cortijo Plaza, Free and open to the public
Celebrate the annual tradition of the lighting of the 20-foot Christmas tree and new this year, the unveiling of the resort’s 85 pound Moravian star piñata that will adorn Kasbah Plaza. Enjoy Spanish tapas, cookie decorating for the kids and complimentary photos with Santa. Bring your furry loved ones for specialty boutique shopping in support of the Arizona Animal Welfare, along with onsite pet adoptions.

Fireside Cocktails
Nightly from 5 to 10 p.m.

Enjoy an evening sitting beside the fire and sip on signature cocktails designed for the season, including the Brandy Ferdinand, a brandy Alexander with a Spanish twist made with Torres brandy, saffron-infused cream and white creme de cacao; Rioja Toddy, featuring Makers Mark bourbon, lemon, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg simple syrup; Spanish Coffee, featuring fresh pressed coffee blended with Tia Maria, Grand Marnier and garnished with coco powder; and The Mbar, featuring Templeton rye, Antica vermouth and Angostura bitters.

Merry Montelucia Ho Ho Ho Hike

Come one, come all to the merriest hike of them all! Don't be a Grinch, throw on your best holiday inspired costume for the hike as the "most spirited" hiker will win a 50–minute massage at Joya Spa. Yappy Hour Howl’day Party
Wednesday, Dec. 13, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Crave Café, $15 per guest
Dress your pooch in their holiday best because Santa will be at Yappy Hour for photo opportunities. The most festive dressed will win a special box filled with Harry Barker treats, toys and picture frames. Mom or Dad of the winning pet will receive a complimentary bottle of Montelucia wine. Each guest will also receive a complimentary glass of wine to enjoy.

Breakfast with Santa
Saturdays in December (2, 9, 16 and 23), 8 to 11 a.m.

Experience a Spanish Christmas feast with a full breakfast buffet loaded with delicious fruits, breads, scrambled eggs, French toast, smoked bacon and crispy hash browns. The crown jewel will be a full array of traditional Spanish holiday sweets including Pestinos, Turron, Marzipan and Polvorones. Children will be able to join Santa for cookie decorating and creating their own Moravian Star ornament before departing with Spanish candies and new holiday stories.
