The master chef who carefully crafted our menus
Executive Chef Greg Wright has been in the art and business of creating great culinary experiences for more than 25 years, including five with Omni. He heads up a staff of more than 100 team members at the Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center, including Prime Meridian Restaurant and Latitudes Bar, room service and banquets.
Chef Wright’s philosophy on flavor building is that starting with the freshest and best quality ingredients will let them speak for themselves. At Prime Meridian, his menu features fresh, local ingredients, and boasts dishes that changes seasonally to capture the wonderful food products available year-round in the great city of Atlanta. He strives to develop flavor profiles and menu items that both please and nourish patrons.
Before taking his post with Omni Hotels, Chef Wright spent seven years at the executive chef of Catering by Liz Grenamyer in Jacksonville, Fla. Prior to that, he was chef/owner of Cactus Café in downtown Jacksonville. When he is not working, Chef Greg loves hanging out with his son and writing, recording and performing music.
