Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel Policies

Check-In/Out

  • Check-in: After 4 PM | Check-out: By 11 AM
  • Guests must be at least 21 years of age to check-in.
  • Late check-out:
    • 2 PM check-out may be available for a $100 fee
    • 4 PM check-out may be available for a $200 fee
    • Check-outs after 4 PM are subject to a full nightly room rate plus applicable taxes and fees

Cancellation

Cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival, after 12:00 PM (noon), will incur a charge of one night’s room rate plus applicable taxes and fees.

Please note: This policy does not apply to advance purchase or prepaid reservations, which are non-refundable and non-changeable.

Payment Policies

Cash

Guests paying with cash must provide a credit or debit card at check-in, which will be authorized for room rate, taxes and fees, and $150/night in incidentals. Cash payment to be made at check-out and hold will be released from credit/debit.

Please note, in-room dining and High Tide are cashless establishments.

Checks

The hotel will not accept personal checks as form of payment.

Debit

The use of a debit card will initiate (at the time of check-in) an immediate deduction from your bank account for your room rate, inclusive of taxes and fees, for all room nights plus $150 per night for incidentals. Upon check-out, any unused funds will be credited back to your account. Based upon the business rules of your bank, it may take 72 hours or longer for your bank to process this back to your account.

Credit

Credit card authorizations must be submitted at least 7 days prior to arrival. Please contact the hotel to arrange secure pre-payment via secure credit card authorization.

Destination Fee

A daily Destination Fee of $30 (plus applicable taxes) provides guests with a curated selection of premium amenities and experiences, including:

  • Premier in-room Wi-Fi
  • Unlimited access to the 24-hour fitness center
  • In-room coffee and tea station
  • Bottled water refreshed daily in-room
  • Digital access to The Wall Street Journal
  • Local and toll-free calls
  • Evening turndown service (upon request)
  • Access to our panoramic pool
  • Restful sleep kit amenities (upon request)

Rollaway Beds

Rollaway beds are available upon request for an additional fee of $45 per night and may only be accommodated in rooms with a king-size bed.

Parking

Omni Fort Lauderdale is valet parking, only. There will be a charge associated with valet parking services.

Food & Drink Policy

All food and beverage must be purchased/provided by the hotel. Outside food, beverages, or alcohol are not permitted on the premises.

Good Night's Rest Policy

To ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all our guests, Omni Fort Lauderdale enforces a Good Night's Rest Policy in our guestrooms. Only registered guests are permitted to enter guestroom elevators or guest rooms after 10:00 PM and before 8:00 AM. All guests must be registered at check in. If a disturbance is created, as a result of a party or noise from a guest room, all guests in the room will be asked to leave the hotel, without a refund. These guidelines are in place to ensure every guest enjoys a peaceful and pleasant stay in our hotel. Disruptions may be subject to a fee of up to $250. 

Pet Policy

Omni Fort Lauderdale is a dog-friendly hotel. Guests may register up to two (2) dogs per room (maximum 60 lbs. each) with a valid credit card on file. A non-refundable $200 cleaning fee applies at check-in; additional charges may be assessed for any damage.

Dogs are not permitted in hotel common areas including, but not limited to, the pool, fitness center, spa, retail shops, and all dining venues. Pets must be crated when left unattended or when hotel staff is present for cleaning or service.

Aggressive, wild, or otherwise disruptive animals will not be permitted. The hotel reserves the right to make the final determination on pet eligibility and may remove pets due to noise, damage, or guest complaints.

Guests must sign a waiver accepting full financial responsibility for any pet-related damage. Service animals are exempt from this policy. 

Pool 

The pool is reserved exclusively for registered hotel guests. For the comfort and safety of all guests, the following are not permitted within the pool area:

  • Outside food or beverages
  • Roll-in or oversized coolers
  • Glassware of any kind
  • Flotation devices
  • Personal speakers or sound equipment
  • Smoking or vaping
  • Please note: There is no lifeguard on duty. Guests swim at their own risk.

Pool Hours:

  • Daily | 7 AM - 9 PM
  • Adults Only | 9 PM - 10 PM
  • In the event of inclement weather, pool access is subject to closure at the discretion of hotel management.

Seating & Cabanas:

Cabanas are available by reservation only. Lounge chairs are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Saving seats is not permitted.

Shipping & Handling

Omni Fort Lauderdale is pleased to accept packages on behalf of registered hotel guests. All deliveries are processed through our on-site FedEx Business Center. A handling fee, based on the size and weight of each package, will be applied to the receiving guest’s account.

Smoking Policy

All guest rooms and interior spaces at Omni Fort Lauderdale are 100% smoke-free. Smoking is only permitted in the designated outdoor smoking area. A $500 cleaning fee plus applicable taxes and fees will be charged for any violation of this policy.

Wellness Policy

Any use of Omni’s fitness centers, Fit Kits, Sleep Kits, or participation in off-site exercise classes or other programs offered by Omni (“Wellness Benefits”) is done at participant’s sole risk. Omni shall not be liable for any injuries, loss, or damage to the participant or participant’s personal property resulting from the use of the Wellness Benefits, regardless of whether it occurs as a result of Omni’s negligence. If the participant chooses to use the Wellness Benefits, the participant hereby expressly waives any claim of liability - for personal/bodily injury or damages - which occurs to the participant or for any loss of or injury to person or property. This waiver is intended to be a complete release of any responsibility for personal injuries and/or property loss/damage sustained by any participant while on Omni’s premises or at off-site exercise classes, whether using exercise equipment or not.

Fitness Center

  • Access: The fitness center is exclusively for registered hotel guests, 18 years or older, or accompanied by an adult.
  • Hours: Open 24 hours daily; guest room key required for entry.
  • Attire: Proper athletic attire and footwear are required at all times.
  • Equipment Use: Please use equipment responsibly and wipe down machines after use.
  • Conduct: Respectful behavior is expected. Disruptive conduct or misuse of equipment may result in loss of access.
  • Personal Items: Lockers are not available; the hotel is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Safety: Use equipment at your own risk. For your safety, please report any malfunctioning equipment to the front desk immediately.

Spa Facilities

Omni Fort Lauderdale kindly requests that guests schedule spa appointments in advance to accommodate specific timing preferences. When booking, please inform the spa coordinator or booking personnel of any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries that may affect your service. All services are subject to availability. Guests must be at least 18 years of age to access the spa facilities. To avoid a cancellation fee, we kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for all appointment changes or cancellations. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service time will be subject to a fee of 100% of the service price. No-shows will also be charged in full.
