The Homestead made me feel right at home, start to finish. There were definite examples of Southern Hospitality through and through. I researched three individual venues, actually The Homestead was my last contact; however proved to be the most successful contact. They were very eager to get back in touch with me. I received a return phone call within 20 minutes and received constant information from them regarding our venue and what we were looking at and the different activities that were available for us in regards to team building as well as individual activities. They kind of made us feel like we were the only people there although there were many other people there, which is hard to find these days. The Homestead was most enjoyable venue for us. It definitely is the pure example of Southern Hospitality.

The thing that I love most is that it allows the international people to really experience Americana. It is more than just a place to have the conference. I mean, people bring their spouses, they bring their families, they bring their kids. It allowed us, on a corporate level, to do some relationship building. We went horseback riding, we did some archery, fly-fishing, golfing (some of the best in the world), culinary experiences with all the restaurants and all the chefs. I mean, fine dining but in a really comfortable, casual atmosphere. The unique thing about what I do means that I get to go to conferences all over the world so I know when it’s my turn to host and I can choose anywhere in the world, quite honestly it’s The Homestead every time.

What I like about The Homestead is the professionalism, the attention to detail, the venues so everyone is together but can be spread out and do some things that they find interesting. I think the facilities and the services for meetings are suburb. The Homestead is a wonderful family place. It feels warm and inviting and comfortable and familiar, but at the same time exciting and glamorous. The Homestead cares about the people who are there and they want to constantly make it the best place ever.
