We held our daughter's wedding reception at the William Penn and could not have been happier with how it all turned out. Your staff is absolutely wonderful from your first contact with the valet all the way up to the most wonderful Catering Manager I have ever worked with, Darlene Coons. Everyone just seems to work so well together and are so willing to make sure you are pleased with everything going on. Many of our guests commented on the wait staff at the reception and how special they were treated and I thank you very much for that! Darlene Coons was remarkable!!! I had complete confidence in her and relied on her for guidance to entertain 300 guests. She was very accommodating, never acted like we were bothering her and explained details so there were no surprises which I appreciated. She certainly is an asset to your organization! Again, the waitstaff was excellent especially Kenny, Michael and another young man named Michael who just seemed to be there when I needed something done. I wish I knew last names but I'm sure Darlene would know who I am referring to because she's just that good. Can't say enough about Darlene and feel so fortunate we were able to work with her.
I cannot say enough wonderful comments about the people that helped me through my wedding. Corey Makrush- A true professional. Nothing ruffled him. Warm, receptive, and completely laid back. Incredible. He was the absolute best. For an emotional and financial journey, he just knew how to guide me even when I was not thinking straight. God bless him! Class act.
Our wedding coordinator, Erin Rose, did an absolutely tremendous job. Ms. Rose was not the original coordinator we met with and planned our wedding with; our previous coordinator left the Omni William Penn Hotel. Erin assumed our account and event. From the very first day working with Ms. Rose, we were ecstatic. She met with us, taking a very professional and completely business-like approach to making sure all of our needs would be met and covered. Any issue we had, whether it was directly involving her or not, she took care of. She was readily available via email or phone whenever we had a question or concern, and she did a phenomenal job taking care of us the day of our event. She and the event staff that evening did excellent, which our guests commented on. Erin was there throughout the evening to ensure that we had everything we needed and even things that we did not think of. Erin Rose was truly one of the only bright spots of our entire wedding process.
