OMNI HOTELS' TEXAS COLLECTION PAMPERS GUESTS WITH "LEAPEND WEEKEND" PACKAGE

Dallas, Texas (Feb.11, 2008) — To celebrate Leap Day, February 29, 2008, Omni Hotels Texas Collection are enticing travelers to take advantage of this extra calendar day with a “Leapend Weekend” offering. Guests can leap into indulgent luxury and pamper themselves with a relaxing weekend stay.

“We are always looking for extra time in our busy lives,” said Jim Snow, regional vice president of operations for Omni Hotels. “Leapend Weekend gives travelers a reason to slow down, unwind and really enjoy themselves.”

Each moment of the guests’ stay will be highlighted by a special indulgence. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with a decadent chocolate surprise and champagne for two. Each night, guests are welcomed to enjoy a complimentary in-room movie, and in the morning, guests can stay comfortably in bed while breakfast is served. As an added indulgence, guests will receive a complimentary, signature robe to take home. For more personalized indulgence, the concierge can add a customized spa experience to the “Leapend Weekend” package.

Omni Hotels in Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio are offering “Leapend Weekend” at special rates from $129 to $329. Visitors can also take advantage of the holiday by booking a Presidential Suite at the rate of $729.

For those wishing to take a “Lovers’ Leap,” Omni will provide a complimentary weekend stay to any couple who becomes engaged on hotel grounds during their “Leapend” stay. The proposal must be witnessed by an Omni associate. The complimentary weekend provides couples the opportunity to celebrate the anniversary of their engagement with welcome wedding cake martinis for two, a petite cake and 29 roses and is valid at the issuing hotel property during February, 2009.

Leapend Weekend is available at nine Texas locations from February 28 to March 2, 2008. The Leapend Weekend rates, including the Presidential Suite, are priced per night and subject to availability.
