OMNI WILLIAM PENN HOTEL GENERAL MANAGER HONORED WITH TWO LEADERSHIP AWARDS

Pittsburgh, PA (May 6, 2008) — The Pennsylvania Tourism and Lodging Association recently announced Eric DeStefano, General Manager of the Omni William Penn Hotel, as the recipient of the Spirit of Hospitality 2008 General Manager of the Year Award. This award honors a general manager who has demonstrated professionalism in operating a property and who has taken a leadership role in the industry by actively participating in association, community, or industry programs.

DeStefano was also recently honored as Omni Hotels General Manager of the Year. This prestigious recognition is awarded to a general manager who demonstrates outstanding commitment to associates, creates memorable experiences for guests, and produces outstanding financial results. 

 

The Pennsylvania Tourism & Lodging Association held its Annual Spirit of Hospitality Awards Reception on April 28, 2008. These prestigious awards recognize outstanding performance, commitment, and achievements in the hospitality and tourism industry throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
