Omni hotels converts interlocken spa to the mokara spa

BROOMFIELD, CO (January 16, 2009) – Becoming the third of Omni’s 40 nationwide hotels to transform its spa to a new line of upscale spas, the nine-year-old Omni Interlocken Resort debuts its Mokara Spa to metro-area residents on Thursday, February 5, 2009 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. The Denver Mokara Spa follows the recent openings of the Dallas and Houston spas.

Guests to the February 5th event will be treated to chair massages, hand treatments, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and specialty cocktails, complemented by live classical guitar music. The Mokara Spa’s newly renovated treatment rooms, relaxation area and nail salon will be open for tours. A weekend night stay for two with dinner and brunch in the Resort’s Meritage restaurant, and a full day of customized spa treatments for two, will be raffled for a lucky party guest.

With its Massage and Body Treatments, Facials, Men’s, Teens and specialized Spa Packages, the Denver Mokara Spa calls upon indigenous, Colorado elements to customize them. Such signature services as Thai Inspired Massage, Equavie Organic Facial and The Ultimate Moisture Wrap should prove to be popular.

The Mokara Spa is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Patrons do not need to be guests of the Omni Interlocken Resort, and may enjoy the 24-hour fitness center, outdoor heated whirlpool and pool during their Spa visit. Both men’s and women’s locker rooms, co-ed eucalyptus steam room, and use of robes and slippers are provided. 

Situated between Denver and Boulder, Omni Interlocken Resort also boasts a 27-hole championship golf course, and more than 32,000-square-feet of meeting space. The 300-acre property offers 390 recently renovated guestrooms. The Resort is located just 20 minutes door-to-door from downtown Denver.
