Trump Leads in Omni's Cocktail Poll by a Small Margin; Clinton Closing in with Every Sip
Hotel guests have less than one month to #DrinkTheVote as part of Omni Hotels & Resorts' "Polling for Cocktails" Presidential predictor promotion

– In less than one month, America will pick the next President of the United States. In the meantime, all eyes are on the ever-changing Electoral forecast and today, Omni Hotels & Resorts
shares its poll results to date*: Trump in the lead, with Clinton not far behind.
With just a few weeks left, the initial Omni results for “Polling for Cocktails” are in and are going against the national trend. Forty-two percent (42%) of “voters” are raising glasses for the Republican party, while 38% have sipped for the Democratic party and 20% for the Independent camp. Since Omni opened its polls back in September, this gap has significantly narrowed when compared to week one results of 50% Republican, 34% Democratic and 16% Independent. All signs seem to point to a possible turn of the tide.
Diving deeper into the polls, the Trump-tini (Tito’s Handmade Vodka, lemon and cranberry juices, Domaine Chandon and a sugared rim), and the True Blue Mule (Tito’s Handmade Vodka, ginger beer and Blueberry Reàl Infused Syrup) are both averaging around 900 “votes,” polling almost neck-and-neck.

*On Tuesday, Sept. 6, Omni Hotels & Resorts launched its brand-wide “Polling for Cocktails” promotion, which runs through Election Day, in an effort to engage hotel guests and visitors in the conversation. Guests may “cast a ballot” in the promotion by ordering one of the seven original, handcrafted cocktails from the unique "Polling for Cocktails” menu.
