NEW YORK (May 3, 2017) – The legendary Omni Berkshire Place has officially re-launched: new eyes, innovation, and re-imagination now define the forever iconic property. Asserting its prominence within the realm of midtown Manhattan, Omni Berkshire Place demarcates the line between exceptional service, ambiance, and iconic New York moments.

The new team, led by Managing Director and distinguished hotel veteran, David Chase, is commanding an agenda of entirely unique, distinct, and customized experiences for guests. Ranging from family excursions to noteworthy cuisine; affordable and spacious accommodations; seasonal specials, and exclusive access to the best of what NYC has to offer, each experience is expertly curated to ensure a personalized and memorable stay for patrons.

Omni Berkshire Place remains a stalwart for families looking to experience classic New York City moments. The property’s youngest guests are encouraged to join The Omni Kids Crew, which includes a backpack filled with fun items designed specifically for them, as well as milk and cookies delivered to their guest room on the first night. The Omni Kids Crew coloring menu is also available at the hotel’s restaurant, including crayons and an Omni Kids Crew cup. The Berkshire offers an American Girl Doll Dream Package, complete with a Kids’ Welcome Pack and American Girl doll-size travel bed to take home, and among other well-known shops, is also ideally situated near the Rockefeller Center Lego store.

Bob’s Steak & Chop House is a traditional American Prime Steakhouse that hails from the great state of Texas. Opened in fall 2016, Bob’s has brought its larger than life personality to the Omni Berkshire Place for a truly unique dining experience. Known for its lively atmosphere, heavy pours, fine wines and large cuts of the finest prime steaks, chops, and seafood, Bob’s has defined itself by delivering simple elegance and quality dishes to every single guest. From world-class meat, seafood, colorful salads, and lush desserts, there is something to please every palate at Bob’s. The restaurant also provides a private back room for guests, highlighting an exclusive, classically New York dining experience with the ambiance of a 1920s speakeasy.

Spacious Accommodations
The 398-room historic hotel dates back to 1926 and was originally designed by famed architects Warren & Wetmore, the firm that designed Grand Central Terminal. Created to provide guests with a residential townhouse feel, accommodations are spacious and traditionally stylized to maximize comfort. The hotel has 44 suites available to guests including the landmark Rodgers & Hammerstein suite, where the two Broadway giants collaborated on their first masterpiece “Oklahoma!” in 1942. The property is honored by its unique place in history and actively engages in this legacy.

Spring into Summer ‘17
Guests looking for savings this season can take advantage of the ‘Spring Fling’ package, available now until June 22, 2017, which includes daily breakfast for two, a $50 Bloomingdales gift card, and two tickets to the Top of the Rock for a birds eye view of Central Park in full bloom. Following, guests can ring in summer ’17 on the Omni Berkshire Place’s 17th floor outdoor terrace, the perfect place for guests to soak in the season in New York City. Perched above 52nd Street, the terrace overlooks one of Manhattan’s most iconic landmarks, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, offering one of the most unique perspectives of the breathtaking building. Drinks and light snacks are served throughout the day and evening hours on the terrace, making it one of the most exclusive and relaxing outlets for guests to unwind. The terrace will also include an herb garden wall, showcasing herbs such as Rosemary, Thyme, Mint and Basil, to be used in Bob’s Steak & Chop House’s signature cocktails. At twilight this summer, guests can even enjoy outdoor classic New York films projected on to the wall of the terrace, providing a true pied-à-terre experience.

Additional 17th floor amenities include instant access to the Omni Berkshire Place fitness facility, where guests can utilize state-of-the-art exercise equipment and attend yoga and meditation classes.

The Best of NYC
While there are limitless options on what to see and do while in New York this season, the Omni Berkshire Place has compiled a “48 Hour Itinerary” to guide the way for guests. The hotel’s recommended ‘must-do’s’ include: dining at Bob’s Steak & Chop House, a visit to Central Park, experiencing Broadway, enjoying the MOMA, and strolling through Rockefeller Plaza. Guests can also join the Berkshire this season for a social media game of “I-Spy,” where families are encouraged to experience Manhattan through the hotel’s lens. When guests take a family picture at each specified NYC landmark during a stay, they can be entered for the chance to win an extra night at the hotel.
