The Golf Channel Academy program and resort packages offer a private practice range lined with live oaks, featuring grass tees, pyramid-stacked balls and a well-targeted landing area. The short-game area includes a sand bunker for practicing fairway recovery shots.

The program hosts the latest in teaching technology with video swing analysis and a FlightScope Launch Monitor, providing students with the most accurate feedback available, as well as a TOMI putting training system.

As the Director of Golf Instruction for The Amelia Island Club Golf Academy at Long Point, Ed Bowe is a Class A PGA member with more than 25 years of teaching experience. Bowe has traveled throughout the world learning from some of the game's elite coaches, including World Golf Hall of Famers John Jacobs and Hank Haney. Prior to relocating to Amelia Island in 2007, Bowe worked with Hank Haney Golf as a PRO5 Certified Instructor, as the Director of Instructor Training for ESPN Golf Schools, as Director of Instruction at the Golf Digest Schools and has been a featured instructor for ESPN Classic's "ESPY Celebrity Golf Classic.”
