Omni Royal Orleans Hotel Unveils All-New Three Maries Jazz Club & The Royal Bar
New spaces bring live jazz, elevated cocktails, and timeless New Orleans flavor to the French Quarter
New Orleans, LA (Jan. 22, 2026) — The Omni Royal Orleans Hotel, a storied New Orleans landmark that embodies the city’s resilience and cultural vibrancy, today announced the opening of the Three Maries Jazz Club and The Royal Bar. The new jazz club and reimagined lobby bar mark the beginning of a transformation of the hotel, designed to celebrate the heritage and enduring spirit of the Crescent City.
Three Maries draws from the city’s many voices and inspirations to create new chapters in the unfolding story of this remarkable place. The jazz club channels New Orleans’ rich musical heritage and multicultural spirit, offering music lovers and culture seekers an opulent setting to savor the city’s vibrant sound alongside its most sophisticated cocktails.
At the heart of the hotel, the intimate 68-seat Three Maries Jazz Club will embrace New Orleans’ thriving live music scene with evocative dark walls, charcoal limewash accents, and lush floral details reminiscent of romantic garden conservatories around the permanent stage. The Three Maries jazz club was named after three Maries with French, royal connections. Marie Mancini was an Italian noblewoman and first love of King Louis XIV of France. She married an Italian prince, but fled her marriage with her sister to live independently, a daring and unconventional act for the time. Maria Theresa was Queen of France from 1660 to 1683 as the wife of King Louis XIV. She is often remembered as a tragic figure due to her husband’s numerous affairs. Marie Louise of Austria was Napoleon Bonaparte’s second wife, a Hapsburg princess who married him in 1810 for political reasons after he divorced his first wife, Josephine De Beauharnais.
Just steps away, The Royal Bar, located in the lobby, will bring the elegance of European glasshouses to life with a horseshoe-shaped brass bar, marble and wooden floors, chevron wood, and limewashed walls with black trim. With 84 seats, it will create an airy, inviting atmosphere ideal for aperitifs or afternoon retreats. The bar will also preserve a piece of the property’s history with the original antique glass map adorned with gold leaf, which will remain on display as a nod to the city’s past.
Three Maries Jazz Club will host live music from celebrated New Orleans musicians, welcoming both locals and visitors to experience the city’s unmistakable sound in an intimate setting. Regular performers include Or Shovaly Plus, known for channeling the golden era of soul and jazz with infectious rhythms and upbeat energy, and the Glen David Andrews Band, a high-powered ensemble blending jazz, gospel, rock, blues, and funk. In addition to a rotating lineup of local talent, guests can expect frequent brass band performances and live piano sets, with a lively second line brass band taking over on Fridays to bring the spirit of the streets into the music lounge. Guests can keep up with the latest musicians performing at Three Maries via their website.
Complementing the music, Three Maries Jazz Club offers an exclusive food and beverage menu led by an elevated craft cocktail program that takes center stage, alongside a curated wine and beer selection. Guests can enjoy signature cocktails including Dust N’ Bones (Crystal Head Vodka, lime oleo, truffle dust), Try To Make It Last All Night (Port Charlotte Scotch, black sesame, cane syrup, Belle de Brillet pear liqueur, clear sour), and Caviar and Champagne (crème fraîche Absolut Vodka, house-made champagne vermouth, lemon bitters, Osetra caviar). Small plates highlight elevated takes on New Orleans classics, including Jambalaya Arancini with chicken and andouille, Griddled Petite Muffuletta on a Gambino’s seeded bun, and Grilled Andouille with trinity jam and Creole mustard.
Three Maries Jazz Club will be open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and available to book through OpenTable, with walk-ins welcome. Live music available on Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. The Royal Bar will be open Monday through Thursday from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The Omni Royal Orleans Hotel is located in the French Quarter at 621 St. Louis St., New Orleans, LA 70140.
