The birthplace of the food truck phenomenon
What started as a hot dog stand has blossomed into a citywide movement. From South Congress to Barton Springs, chefs are shying away from sit-down establishments and serving inexpensive, unpretentious cuisine whipped up in the back of refurbished concession trailers.
From Chi'Lantro's taco and Korean-fusion barbecue to tasty cupcakes at Hey Cupcake!, street eats occupy every culinary niche. And, there's always a new, delicious meal to discover. Visit any of Austin's food truck trailer parks for a bevy of tasty treats true to the Austin culture.
To celebrate Austin's diverse food truck offerings, Trailer Food Tuesdays is back for another season of good eats and great fun. This is your chance to try out several different food trailers all on the grounds of The Long Center, with the Austin skyline as your backdrop.
